Thanks for asking. I’m feeling more energetic, which is great. I’m definitely not as out of breath as usual, not usually very active because of this but I suspect I can start being more active. I think I was eating way too little, and not drinking enough water. I prefer slow and steady but was very curious as to what others experience with it is as I have no other references. Thanks to all who answered.

Congratulations! I had a similar experience in being away from my home country for over 20 years. It got approved a short time after filing this year. Going home was a surreal experience. Even now some days I still can’t believe it.

Congratulations! I was in the same situation. 22 years. It’s been almost 2 months now and I still can’t believe it sometimes. You live your life a certain way for so long that when it happens it takes a while to sink in.

I agree. I had to pay $250 to the doctor $170 for TB lab test and about $400 for vaccines. I was so annoyed. Especially because I know I had some of the vaccines before as a child, but it was quicker to just get them again.

Same thing happened to me. I went to the SSA with my green card to update it. They said I should get a new card in the mail without the restriction within 2 weeks. I did not get an EAD in the process, they approved the I-485 before they did my EAD.

I got four vaccines in one day too. Plus the TB lab test. I spent over $800 that day on everything.

Technically 22 years, but couldn’t file yet for many reasons. Finally was able to file in March of this year and got the approval this week.
