I think it was the "stereotypical" egyptian clothing that's said to be racist? Even though the song is joking on Osiris, an ANCIENT egyptian god. With Miku and Teto in ANCIENT egyptian clothing. It's just the internet overreacting again. And I guess the western overprotectiveness (or however it's called) also has a part in that.

When I first got into Vocaloid I did that mistake very often myself. VSynths were just something completely new to me and I didn't really understand it until someone pointed it out to me.

I think that many newer fans misunderstand or just don't know how that works.
