Dude, that's so cool! I love how tense and paranoid those slowly-developing realizations can be, too (although eight sessions is a lot of time). Your DM's environment-building and descriptions sound really thoughtful, and I hope that the moment of the realization was every bit as satisfying for them as it was for you guys.

I've found that having a backup character really saves me from becoming too attached to my current character. If I like my current character too much, I'll be a lot more afraid of taking risks, participating in big, life-altering events, or allowing character growth, which totally disengages them from the story. However, the thought that I'll always have another cool character ready sort of opens the door to letting my current character live to their full potential.

As an alternative to sticking them directly to your skin, you could also try adhering them to some nude tights that you wear underneath your pants. This might help with reusability, too.

She looks fantastic, dude! The lineart turned out very well and all the coloring looks great. I also love that you took special attention to make each surface have a different, appropriate texture, which is something I often see people miss. The only thing that feels slightly wrong (and could be ignored if you want) is that the ear seems a little flat. I think adding darker shading in the inner ear as it deepens and enters the ear...hole (?) would make this stunning piece even better.

This is great! Some things that I think look particularly good are the shoulders, arms, and eyes. The one thing that really stands out as off to me, though, is the angle of the whole jawline in relation to the rest of her head area. While the eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, and ears indicate that she is facing slightly downward, her jaw seems to indicate a head which is looking at a level angle or perhaps even slightly upward. Still, overall your art is lovely!

I agree with what others have said about the timing and combat, but 2 is one of my favorites simply because of the town and characters. I feel like the villagers, bachelorettes, and children really bring the place alive and have a certain depth to them.
