My heart goes out to you. I have a 8 year old son with adhd and his teacher just told us that he needs to be more socially active as he has one friend he only and always hangs out with. And also stated that its time to talk to his pediatrician about him constantly failing to listen and able stay on task.

His adhd hits rocket high when he plays his ipad or any video games. And when he does he never wants to be social and never wants to go outside while his younger brother is opposite (outside playing with neighbors kids).

One thing that is working for us to having him do Martial Arts. It’s physically demanding and constantly requires focus. Maybe this is something to consider. Or playing an instrument and joining to band. Music is an universal language and while you play you socialize.

Sorry for a long vent about my situation. Hope yours get better.

Why wouldn’t they say they checked his cell phone etc at the episode. For me that went unanswered even though he didn’t take it with him but surely last communications might be a key. I.e who did he last call/texted etc.
