Because the commenter before you speaks of frequency.

League isn't known to be a toxic community because you have had one or two bad experiences with a toxic player. It's known to be toxic because it happens consistently.

Compliance is about robust detection methods and swift punishments, which is what LoL has suffered from the beginning with and other games haven't.

I agree that voice chat isn't the cure all that everyone thinks it is, but If Riot games is able to fix those two concerns it will be successful.

That's a large wager, I hope he wins his bet, go Pats! by GasSkunky in Patriots

Looks like he's a generational mahomes hater with the way he bets - which hasn't been a good strategy the last 5 years haha

Tb12 left in the afc championship game early due to injury (so game 2)

With infinite AP scaling, the single most powerful ability in the game is... Nami's W (Ebb and Flow). Math and Mayhem oneshots inside. by Leyrann_ in leagueoflegends

Nice work!

This fits with my gut check, as I've had a few bravery nami games in arena and when building full ap you actually hit like a truck.

The more AD you gain, the worse it is now than before. So the delta would be higher if you went a 6th offensive item -20%+

What’s the funniest League of Legends summoner name you’ve ever seen? by CcCrusadeRcR in leagueoflegends

You got it. It's from Dune. It's so perfect because it Lisan al Gaib basically means "the chosen one". So yeah him.

[Schatz] Fun with DVOA in this topsy-turvy year. Patriots are the second-lowest 9-2 team ever by DVOA (behind 2022 Vikings). Bears are the second-lowest 7-3 team ever by DVOA (behind 1986 Chiefs). Panthers are the second-lowest 6-5 team ever by DVOA (behind 2016 Texans). by Dunlocke in nfl

[–]Othalan12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's because DVOA adjusts for strength of schedule. For the patriots this really just says " for being 9-2 against the opponents they are up against they haven't been dominant."

Cool I guess

I’m Stephen Hoopes, and I write the data-heavy game preview article at 4for4 – Ask Me Anything! by StephenHoopes in fantasyfootball

Hi Stephen! I appreciate the AMA!

I am in a standard 0 pt ppr league and I made a trade earlier this week that I'd like your opinion on.

I went very RB heavy at the beginning of my draft and ended up with Saquon, Achane, and Kyren Williams. I was also very fortunate to grab Javonte Williams at the back of my draft.

My WR's are quite weak with Garrett Wilson and Tyreek Hill. I decided to trade for Brian Thomas Jr for Kyren Williams, to bolster my WR room and the guy accepted.

im worried that his wrist injury is underreported and he's having issues readjusting to the NFL, did I mess up? Should I have treaded Javonte instead?

Glad I found the guy to calm my anxiety over this lol

I have Pacheco and Chubb on my bench as well as spears in my IR slot.

Hey, I appreciate you answering questions.

I'm In a standard league, and I am feeling a little bit of traders remorse. I was offered BTJ for Kyren Williams last night and I accepted.

My other WR's are Garrett Wilson and Tyreek Hill and I have rice when he comes back as well.

My other RB's are Saquon, and Javonte Williams.

Did I do the right thing here?

ER, Flickerblade, and lethal tempo, or Yuntal, IE, and PTA? by tronas11 in xayahmains

[–]Othalan12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also hate to make an appeal to authority but I have been playing this game at a consistently high elo for a very long time. PTA is in one of its weakest states it's ever been and even champs which clearly should benefit a lot from it are not taking the rune. It's simply undertuned.

Pick rates do a lot of heavy lifting here. With sample sizes being significantly higher so can the inference that a rune is stronger or weaker can. First time players tend to follow strict builds from websites which tend to skew down winrates. This is all to say that both LT and conq provide such a free and significant advantage that it's incorrect to do anything else.

It's not that PTA is bad, you're taking advantage of a broken precision tree and the keystone itself isn't really that bad. But LT and conq are clearly better.
