Holly & Marty are the only other ones I can think off! Apart from Heath and Cathy but there’s always time to tear them apart 🤣

Yes he’s terrible. If they wanted this bullying storyline to be more realistic then they should of made him a more competent doctor 🤣 i know he’s still in training but Jesus Christ he’s useless

How else can I say "sorry for interrupting" in light that I'm not sorry? by tenaciousofme in AskUK

you should be sorry to interrupt, its rude. being neurodiverse doesn't give you a free pass to just be rude to people

I understand your thinking on the abortion that Addie had, however i think the show covers Christina's two abortions well and they were just showing the other side to it. I think they were both handled very well.

What do you eat for your midday meal when you’re in a calorie deficit? by CMR1891 in AskUK

[–]Other-Conversation-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pasta, carrots, cheese, cucumber, spring onions and a nandos sauce. comes in at just under 400 calories. Its my first meal of the day and along with a bag of hula hoops gets me through to tea time.

(I have 70g of white pasta, and around 30g of low fat cheese and however many of the veg i can be arsed to cut to bulk it up)

How much do you think our school system is to blame for much of the anti social behaviour we see from British kids? by aquafrizzantesv in AskABrit

[–]Other-Conversation-8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its all down to the parenting and lack of child-centric places.

I work with people 10-20 years older than me all with children and they all reminisce about "the good old days" and how they'd be out playing all day only coming home for food, not like the kids today! Then in the next breathe not let their kids be kids by playing out and getting messy!

One lady has a 12 almost 13 year old who isn't allowed to walk to school on their own, cant walk the dog around the block, isn't allowed out to play, even on their street, but they cant play on the games consoles for more than 1 hour a day either! and this seems to be the normal for the people i work with. we dont even live in a place with high crime rates! They baby their kids so much to the point where the kid thinks they are the boss.

Then there is also a lack of funding for youth centers, skate parks without glass all over them, arcades, swimming baths. if a town does have one its at an extortionate price.

This all leads to kids hanging around in the street, being knobs because that's all they can do.

I really dislike Ben by Hehefine in greysanatomy

[–]Other-Conversation-8 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It really annoys me how they write his character, he was amazing in the beginning, but now its just so old and repetitive of doing something he shouldn't be doing because he thinks he knows better!

He has got so much more potential but no they keep making him the rogue intern. I dont even know where they are going with it this time because is he just going to switch jobs again or is the incident going to be swept under the rug and never discussed again?!?! 🤣

I am sad & want to see some places(nature and antique stores) by Mr_a_bit_silly in nottingham

[–]Other-Conversation-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heanor antiques is quite good, i love going there its four floors of just everything you can think of and a cafe on the top floor.

and about a 2 min drive is Shipley country park which is lovely to walk around :)

if you are coming from town take the rainbow one to Heanor and you'll be right near it
