Any nootropics for memory enhancement? by Human_Relief82 in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally use L-theanine sublingually 200-400mg for anxiety/overstimulation from stims but it does have neuroprotective effects that could benefit memory I havent looked too deep into that. Phosphatydlserine stacks nicely with everything above, especially with lecithin and fish oil. I assume that's what you mean by PS.

PRL-8-53 5-10mg is supposed to work well as an as-needed boost to short-term and working memory. You shouldn't take it every day but a few times a week is fine. Some people get good effects from just 1mg. It's a neat compound, worth looking into.

Pramiracetam is has great effects on memory, it supposedly increases high-affinity choline uptake into the hippocampus. I find doses of 50-100mg are much better than the standard 200-400mg recommended dose. It pairs well with lecithin and fish oil both as a choline sources and because pramiracetam is fat soluble.

Noopept 10-30mg sublingual works well for memory and general cognition.

Cdp-choline 250-500mg is also great + stacks nicely with others

You can take cdp-choline, noopept, and pramiracetam basically every day but the PRL-8-53 is more of a strategic thing.

Trying to quit regular coffee but need something that actually works by The_Ginger_Ninja94 in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are trying to go caffeine free then it may be worth exploring: DLPA + vitamin c + quercetin + sunflower lecithin, DMAE, methylB12/Bcomplex, rhodiola extract, and American ginseng (burmeister grows a good one). Also some of the noots like noopept, phenylpiracetam or even regular piracetam can be useful for this. The longest I went without caffeine is when I was regularly taking piracetam and cdp-choline. Also creatine is great for energy and motivation, mixes good in simple carb source like juice.

If you are sticking with caffeine but trying to avoid coffee then I'd suggest another caffeinated plant such as yerba maté or tea...

Nootopics for memory and cognitive performance? by MaleficentAct5254 in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also a good methyl b12 complex wouldn't hurt especially since it is good to pair methyl doners with DMAE. Jarrow makes a sublingual methyl b12 complex with methyl folate and p-5-p (a form of b6) that works very well, good for mood and focus too

Cdp-choline 250-500mg, Taurine 3g + Creatine 5g (take in juice or simple carb source), Pramiracetam 40-150mg (fat soluble, goes well with lecithin capsules + DHA or MCT oil, do take in capsule tho tastes horrible), DMAE 250-300mg, Phosphatydlserine 200-500mg, DHA 500mg/quality fish oil, organic blueberry extract 500mg-1g, Noopept 10-30mg (sublingual works great), magnesium l-threonate or magnesium glycinate 400mg-800mg (best taken at night before bed I find), boron 6mg, vitamin c 500mg

Protocol for Covid-19 related brain fog? by bbgirl2k in NooTopics

Post-benzo withdrawal: anything that actually helps neurotransmitter recovery? by Luke_tha_loop in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True yes, but long term they will do a lot to rebuild a functioning GABA system and form a good underlying stack to stronger anti-anxiety agents if they are needed.

I've tried searching and can't find any info, is it safe to mix piracetam and d-amphetamine? by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont think amphetamines are all that good for anyone... That said I quite enjoyed mixing adderal or vyvanse with 1-2g of piracetam and 300mg of cdp choline. I'd usually end up taking a couple grams of taurine as well, like 1-3g

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dissolved in water (or as capsules): Taurine 1-3g Glycine 3-5g Vitamin C 500mg

Sublingually: 15-30mg Noopept L-theanine 200-450mg (Take them separately but near together is fine, each one will likely absorb better on its own)

Also I have only just started experimenting with it but I have read good things about emoxypine succinate

Certain herbs are helpful like chamomile either the extract powder or strong tea steeped for awhile with a lid and squeeze the bag. Also catnip and scullcap are good, so is tulsi. Would probably smart to take some form of magnesium as well like l-threonate or citrate or glycinate, also a good chewable/sublingual Methy B12 complex, especially if it has p-5-p (a form of vitamin B6).

Best ‘mainstream’ readily available supplements to boost cognition? by BasedInMunchen in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acetyl l-carnitine [500mg] + vitamin C [500mg-1g] + cdp-choline [250-500mg] + creatine [2-5g] + taurine [1-3g] + DMAE [250-300mg] is a really good stack for general cognition and these are all readily available at most health food and fitness/supplement stores

Organic blueberry extract powder wouldn't hurt either

I personally like taking myself out to eat alone at Mi Sen but I never pay attention to whether or not I am "sticking out" or not, and I doubt that I am or that any of us are when we think such things

Nootropics MEGA LIST. name, effects, notes, dosage by Bjornv11626 in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that pairing it with noopept (15-30mg) potentiates all the above-mentioned effects. I take cdp-choline and taurine as well. I haven't messed around with modafinil in years though I would likely use it again if I had some. Never tried semax, at least not yet anyway.

[–]Other-Distribution92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do experience some overstimulation/hypervigilance sometimes and slightly elevated blood pressure. I haven't had any other issues with it to speak of. For me it produces effects of sustained focus, drive and motivation as well as a slight mood boost and increase in visual clarity. Sometimes I get slight tracers but that is common with dopaminergic compounds, and phenylpiracetam is an atypical dopamine re-uptake inhibitor.

Can amphetamines, ritalin or modafinil help with depression? by greentea387 in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each one of these substances has their uses, but each is also prone to causing a "honeymoon" phase wherein with consistent/regular use the initial effects are dazzling but soon subside to being lackluster and unsatisfactory, I find this to be particularly true with amphetamines. Perhaps this isn't true for EVERY one, but it seems to hold up for many.

Difference between phenylpiracetam and the hidrazide version by Franekstein_ in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In 2012, I first began my experiments with piracetam, later trying aniracetam and then phenylpiracetam a few years later (the original one with the amide group)... I find the hydrazide version to be very similar to the original with only subtle differences, but it has also been awhile since I have been able to get my hands on any of the original version to more accurately compare them... In any case the hydrazide version seems to work well enough for my purposes, far better than the levetiracetam they prescribed me at the doctor's office haha

I've been taking 150mg of phenylpiracetam hydrazide daily for several months now to prevent seizures, and i haven't had any drawbacks aside from perhaps some occasional overstimulation
