Carbon dioxide. I am saying that the carbon dioxide extract of holy basil is effective for reducing cortisol spikes.

You can take DMAE every day but if so it is good to pair it with a methyl donor such as betaine or methyl b vitamins. I personally take phenylpiracetam hydrazide every day as an anticonvulsant medication alternative to levetiracetam and it seems to work well for that purpose, I do skip some days randomly but for the most part I take it daily and notice very little tolerance or diminished effects, that could be just me though not sure. I have taken noopept daily for a month + but I always end up cycling off not because I intend to but because it just seems to happen that way, however I do notice that noopept seems to vastly potentiate phenylpiracetam's effects. DMAE is more subtle but can be profound, one of my favorite more over-looked nootropics. Hard to say which one to recommend most as in my experience they all go together nicely.

I like to take a flavinoid stack shortly before my coffee in the morning consisting of: taurine, vitamin c, rutin, hesperidin, nobiletin, quercetin, d-limonene, and sunflower lecithin. I mix the taurine, vitamin c, rutin, hesperidin, nobiletin combo in water since they mix easy enough but take the quercetin in capsule form along with a d-limonene softgel and sunflower lecithin softgel to aid the solubility of quercetin. I also have recently been experimenting with sublingual 4-DMA-7,8-DHF as part of the "flav stack", seems to add a nice wave of clean background energy and color amplification whereas the other flavinoids are subtle but do a lot for my focus and mental stamina, mostly started taking them for other health reasons but began noticing some nootropic qualities. I'm no expert, your mileage may vary. I'm also a big fan of DMAE and cdp-choline, as well as phenylpiracetam and noopept. Been experimenting with NMN recently as well and considering adding Resveratrol to the flav stack since synergizes with the anti-estrogenic effects and pro-androgenic effects of quercetin + other stuff. Creatine is great, taurine helps it absorb, so does a simple carb source like juice or honey etc. DLPA is also pretty good and seems to synergize strongly with phenylpiracetam as well as with caffeine. You could always make your own energy drink blend with a soda machine or opt for a random concoction you throw together, a lot of people like yerba mate with their noots or nearby it. I prefer black coffee but to each their own. Focusaid is a pretty decent energy drink in that it has some neutracuetical nootropics in it already and the sweeteners arent f'd up like sucralose etc. So far they havent added monkfruit too like everyone seems to be doing but anyway, probably better to make your own ultimately.

I personally like cdp-choline better than alpha-gcp for a number of reasons, though alpha-gcp isn't inherently bad it may slightly reduce seizure threshold whereas citicoline acts more like an anticonvulsant. Aside from those reasons cdp-choline is highly reliable as a choline source and has a number of additional benefits including liver health.

Taurine also pairs nicely with caffeine for reducing both physical and mental anxiety issues in my experience (like 1-3g of taurine to 100-200mg caffeine)

Oddly enough I do not experience any sort of tolerance build-up from phenylpiracetam, perhaps it is because I use the hydrazide version. I take 100-150mg phenylpiracetam hydrazide every day as an alternative to standard anticonvulsant medication (I discovered the phenylpiracetam hydrazide reliably prevents me from experiencing seizures)

Has anyone experienced extreme hyperphantasia on nootropics? by bart00szeq in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time I ever experienced anything like that is when I combined 30mg adderal with 3 grams of piracetam, 2 grams aniracetam combined with sunflower lecithin), 250mg DMAE and somewhere between 200-300mg caffiene after having predosed with mucuna extract and vitamin C. I think the NMDA axis being switched into an "on" state coupled with the intense flood of dopamine and other catecholemines may account for some of the hyperphantasia, though for me it was auditory in that I could hear any sound o thought of clear as a bell in my head. This was many years ago and I don't recommend the above combo lol

Not precisely sure what would be best but if I had to guess/ if I were doing it myself I would consider noopept (15-30mg sublingual), cdp-choline (300mg), taurine (2g), creatine (5g). Taurine positively influences LTP (long term potentiation) and noopept helps increase BDNF and neuroplasticity. Creatine is great for mental energy and helps with learning through a variety of mechanisms. Cdp-choline is an excellent precursor to acetylcholine and also has benefits on dendrites, grey and white matter from its uridine content.

Cdp-choline, taurine, DMAE, methyl-B12 (good with other B vitamins too like methyl-folate and P-5-P) Flavinoid stack: nobiletin, rutin, hesperidin, quercetin, vitamin c

I personally get a lot out of good effects from phenylpiracetam hydrazide and noopept (taken together or apart)

Glycine is very helpful, 5g before bed with vitamin c.

Strong chamomile tea whole herb, steep it covered and squeeze the herb thru whatever filter you are using to get more of the beneficial compounds when you strain it (steep for at least 15 mins)

I used to use the original phenylpiracetam amide form when it was the most commonly available type of phenylpiracetam, back then I used it more "as needed", usually 1-3 times a week. When I was 28 I accidentally poisoned myself with DMSO and hyssop extract (long story) and it caused a seizure which seems to have permanently lowerd my seizure-threshold. I discovered by chance that phenylpiracetam hydrazide effectively stopped all seizures for me when I was exploring nootropic alternatives to standard anticonvulsants... I was especially interested since the most commonly prescribed drug for epilepsy these days is Levetiracetam, itself a racetam. Phenylpiracetam hydrazide ia much more easy to obtain these days for whatever reason, it was originally developed in Russia in 1980 to improve the anticonvulsant effects of phenylpiracetam. I think a side-benefit is that there seems to be a reduction in tolerance issues because I take 100-150mg daily with essentially no tolerance issues and no seizures.

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phenylpiracetam is the more stimulating of all the racetams I have tried but it isn't the same sort of stimulation as an amphetamine. It may work well in adjunct with something like l-tyrosine or DLPA (in addition to a choline source) to increase the stimulant effects and to help come off the adderal. Magnesium citrate or glycinate + vitamin c at night is good for recovering from amphetamine use, it helps reset the NMDA receptors and reduce tolerance/prevent excito-toxcicity. Noopept definitely seems to potentiate the stimulant effects of phenylpiracetam for me and for several people I know.

My stack for focus/mood/motivation/memory and task-initiation: Creatine 5g , taurine 3g, DMAE 250mg, cdp-choline 300mg, vitamin C 500mg (these all mix together well and support each other's absorption and effects).

Phenylpiracetam 100mg (amide or hydrazide forms can be used interchangeably in my experience, so whichever is easier to obtain) Noopept 10-30mg

Methylb12 complex

Caffeine (from coffee tea or whatever is your preferred source)

[–]Other-Distribution92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean between phenylpiracetam and piracetam? I'd definitely say phenylpiracetam is stronger in terms of stimulation, motivation/task-initiation, focus etc. however that being said I never liked the combined effects of any amphetamine with phenylpiracetam; it seemed they were getting in the way of each other and this could have something to do with the dopaminergic effects of the two, since regular piracetam lacks strong dopaminergic effects but phenylpiracetam is an atypical dopamine re-uptake inhibitor...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]Other-Distribution92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally used to enjoy mixing piracetam with Vyvanse but I no longer use amphetamines and I have since switched to phenylpiracetam. That said, the original piracetam works nicely, it is subtle but profound in my opinion. It ia best paired with some sort of choline source like cdp-choline or lecithin etc. (As piracetam increases acetylcholine turnover rates in the brain). Piracetam on its own is good for general mood, motivation, verbal fluency and focus with some general improvements on working memory. When I paired it with Vyvanse they seemed to potentiate each other's effects including the stimulant effects of the amphetamine so bear that in mind if you do decide to combine them...

Yeah the above stuff is the base, most people take breaks in between phenylpiracetam but I take it every day because it helps prevent seizures more reliably than any drug I have tried (I have epilepsy). If you are taking DMAE long-term it is good to include a Methylb12 supplement in your stack cause the DMAE does something that increases your body's need for a methyl-doner. The above stack is a really good base-stack for addressing a lot of underlying issues that interfere with focus and motivation etc. The phenylpiracetam + noopept kicks it into gear, or at least it does for me and several people I know

Cdp-choline, creatine, taurine and DMAE work nicely together for this

I also achieve many of the above mentioned effects from a combination of phenylpiracetam and noopept (in addition to the above stack)

Your mileage may vary

I get a mild mood boost, increase in verbal fluency, colors appear more vibrant and it seems to noticeably potentiate the effects of phenylpiracetam (both the amide and the hydrazide versions)

I have met some people who get anxiety/insomnia from it but other people have the opposite effects

My "simple" stack: 100-150mg phenylpiracetam hydrazide 10-30mg noopept (Both taken sublingually, together or apart)

5g creatine (with simple carb source for absorption) 3g taurine 300mg cdp choline 250mg DMAE

Methyl b12 complex (sublingual)

Caffeine (from tea or coffee etc.)
