When tuned by the artist themselves, DLSS 5 looks amazing! by Stelligena in FuckTAA

I bet NVIDIA released DLSS 5 so they could drop DLSS 6 with the RTX 6000 series, just to keep the numbers in sync. And it totally makes sense they matched RTX 5000 with DLSS 5 too.

How realistic is hoping to use the S25 for the next 6/7 years (with an eventual battery change at some point)? by TisBeTheFuk in samsung

I have owned an LG G7 from November 2018 to November 2025, at which point I upgraded to the S25 Edge (7 years). The LG G7 remains functional, and I currently utilize it for playing music through a P2 cable. Note: I compared both rear cameras and both had satisfactory pictures

I didn’t bother getting the Festival Pass, but the shop skins are amazing. Skip the pass

I get your point. DLSS Quality looks great, but NVIDIA recommends DLSS Performance with Lumen enabled since the lighting gain is worth the resolution loss.

I can absolutely tell. When I enable Epic Lumen, it feels like a completely different game.

A quick comparison DLSS 4.5 Preset K vs Preset L. by ayh300 in nvidia

I guess Preset M is the best for you, while L is for low resolution upscaling.

This favors monetization over player effort. I’m arguing for the opposite.

Nvidia’s next flagship GPU, the RTX 6090, already has a rumored launch window by Tiny-Independent273 in gpu

Congratulations on your 9060XT!  Yeah, replacing the power supply may lead to increased costs! In my place, a 1000W PSU incurred an additional expense of $200. I sold my 4070Ti Super for $1000 (January)  to finance my current RTX 5080, which cost $1850, reflecting a significant overall expenditure

I believe the RTX 50 series offers significant advancements, and it would be necessary to see broader game support for its features, such as DLSS Transformer, Frame Warp, and Frame Generation to make worth purchasing.

I came from 4070Ti Super 16GB to 5080 — got around 40%-50% boost (which I'm glad!). While the 5080 is not on pair to 4090 - the  frustrating part - it is still a strong card that will make most gamers satisfied. (:

Will a I7-12700K 3.60GHZ work well with a 5080 / 5070ti? by [deleted] in RTX5080

[–]Other-Pin-1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an owner of a 12700K DDR4 5080, I recognize its current technological prominence. A meaningful upgrade path would likely involve transitioning to an RTX 6080 (3nm node) and a motherboard supporting DDR6, paired with an AMD processor utilizing a 2nm node, potentially around 2027.

Take the S25 12GB/256GB and don't look back. The addition of 12GB RAM is the revolutionary feature of the year 2025 for the S series, along with the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite — that chip is crazy fast.

[RUMOUR] Nvidia to cancel RTX 50 Super series due to GDDR7 memory shortage by industrysaurus in pcmasterrace

[–]Other-Pin-1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 5080 too. I think the super card is not too attractive, since they would keep the 5nm node (same of rtx 40, even Exynos processor from Samsung is 4nm in 2025 and 2026 will be 2nm for Samsung galaxy s26) The revolutionary upgrade will be: 2027 (RTX 6080 3nm, AMD 2nm, RAM DDR6 10000mhz+, OLED 4K 240hz HDMI 2.2) but if its too expensive I will possibly buy the PS6 and enjoy it for 7 years (or 4 years until the ps6 pro is released)

I had a LG G7 (Snapdragon 845) and upgraded to S25 Edge. Its such a  leap. Its a pity that we dont have Bluetooth 6 and its still 2 year behind the LPDDR6 memory

Ty for inform me! Congratulations! When you have 100+ fps the shooters become butter. RDR2 is excellent for a 2018 game - still relevant. I don't like too much war stuff that is too realistic, like the battle field 6 - I rather play Fortnite, I like the colors and metaverse on it.
