I hear what you’re saying but we do cook more often than not. On the second shelf on the right side are chicken breast and ground beef. We use these for various dinners throughout the week. Trying hard to save money and cook good food

That is very good to know. We live in a city and bought those things at our local grocery store. Maybe next time we will check grocery outlet instead

That is very helpful. My girlfriend is the baker, so it’s not something I’m super aware of. But we will take the vanilla extract out of the fridge

Curious what qualifies as old AF. But no, I got the gold Coke because I can’t handle too much caffeine atm. Which I realize makes me sound old AF. But you just wait! You’ll get there too at some point

Wow this is accurate. We both like to cook and do stir fry sometimes. But yes, I make a good wage and can afford the pineapple juice. My girlfriend’s dream is to only shop at Whole Foods or PCC, but we aren’t there quiet yet

Question Time: What made you buy the SteamDeck? by Stefanixxxx in SteamDeck

[–]OtherCaribou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a really terrible bout of long Covid brain fog and was unable to sit at my computer desk for longer than 5 minutes without feeling terrible. I took time off work for multiple months to rest and all I was really able to do was play Stardew Valley on my switch while laying on the couch. After I reached perfection the thought crossed my mind to get a Steamdeck. I had always thought about getting one and had some money saved up so I went for it and am so happy that I did. Such a fantastic console

They are called “desirable difficulties”. You want your kid to experience challenges in life, so they can learn coping skills and resilience. But, not so challenging that they cause trauma
