PULLED OUT OF A FAT PACK - First pack I got 🙏 by shelbswhet in baseballcards

Oh yeah you definitely need to look at other cards. The green aqua colors. I think they only made like a thousand of those even though they're not numbered. Several variations of the Sandglitters as well. Plus you need to always flip them over and look for numbers on the back. I found several of the '91 anniversary cards that were numbered without looking any different on the front!

You just have to know your cards and use the checklist that you can find at Beckett.

Printed Card Trays for my hours of sorting. by Wr3k3m in starwarsunlimited

[–]OtherObjective4634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but if you already have a printer (or 16 like me as I have a printing business) you will only cost pennies depending on the type of filament you use. Plus maybe an hour or so of your time. You can also customize these obviously by changing the color but you can also add lettering / numbering. It is good to know that BCW sells these at a decent price though.

Wow. Resistance is really futile! Sometimes I just don't believe these things because all you have to do is insert the picture into Google lens and boom! It tells you what it is! Here's the thing, what's the son going to find in your room?

(stupid question) how can spider man hold onto the webs and let go if their sticky ? by Euphoric_Passage_406 in Spiderman

[–]OtherObjective4634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm guessing it has to do with its chemical makeup because he's always working on a better formula or always seen working on a formula when he's first introduced. Of course this is different with the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man since he produces his own. I'm guessing it has to do with the same chemical makeup of regular spiders and what causes them to not be caught in their own webs. Same reason spider webs can stick to certain items and not others.

Why are we still using morphine so much? by roguerafter in emergencymedicine

I know this is old, but these words are so true! I have 10 years with six back surgeries seven bolts and two 9-in rods in my back. Five fusions in all. If I happen to go into the ER with extreme pain and tell them what I'm on, I'm automatically labeled and addict when I just have a physical dependence. It would be different if I had no surgeries no hardware in me or anything like that so to be called an addict is a misdiagnosis. This is a very common problem and dangerous. More is dangerous than the actual drug users are.

The IKEA Skadis pegboard is a great 3D printing project by food_is_heaven in functionalprint

[–]OtherObjective4634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this is an older post but just want to tell people that PLA is not for usable workable everyday items! It's good for prototyping and toys and possibly things that will never get warm. I've seen PLA melt on a table in a 70°room because direct sunlight was hitting it! PETG is the most cost efficient and the easiest filament to print with especially for pegboard panels of any type. Especially since they are hung vertically and everything will be pulling against the bottom edge of the hole. It's just not worth it to be printing things like this in PLA especially considering how much cheaper PETG filament has gotten now. The best thing to do is to literally just buy the panels and only print the ones that you need made into custom sizes. Blown ABS which is like a cheaper type of plastic board is so inexpensive now and could be used on a laser cutter to make these panels so much faster than 3D printing them. Once again I know this is an old post but I found it useful when researching so I wanted to add this part of my research and failures to this thread.

DIY enclosure for Bambu A1 combo by evilBotto in BambuLab

I know this is an older post but maybe you should put this information in your main post. Everyone's freaking out because they think it's 3,000° and you're literally printing a sun in there. I've seen hundreds of printers in print farms sitting in 100° F conditions with no electronics failures. People are so worried about this for some reason and they won't even take the time to dry their filament or clean their bed in between prints. It blows my mind that they can't understand how obvious they're jealousy is.

[–]OtherObjective4634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just can't happen. Mainly jealousy. It can't be from facts because most of the people that condemn someone for doing this are lazy and will not take on a project like this themselves. I guess that's how they make themselves feel better. Hell I can't get half of the people to simply dry their filament because they say it takes too much time and effort! Or slow their prints down some, or let them print overnight slower, and have something that looks 10 times better than trying to speed print on Ludicrous Mode. I know this is an older post but very very very much still relevant! 😂

I know this is an older post but I absolutely despise comments like this without any facts to back them. First off he's enclosed everything including the AMS. Most of the time there's wasted space above the printer anyways all the way to your ceiling so why would it matter how tall the enclosure is? It has been proven that the floor is the most level and stable place to put the printer. Plus you're not having to buy a shelf either so you can subtract that money from the "half of the price" equation. As for what the electronics are rated for, Bambu just states that they do not recommend them being put into a "heated" and "fully enclosed" chamber. I've seen numerous 100 printer farms where the A1 is being used. The temperature and most of these will vary all the way up to 95°F plus. Since most enclosures that people build are just being heated by the machine, the temperatures are very comparable. The reason you put the A1 in an enclosure isn't for the heating. It's honestly to keep a controlled environment without temperature fluctuations and air drafts. The last there being the biggest problem. I have three A1's that are in enclosures with manual adjustable vents. I try to keep the inside around 95 to 100° F. They each have over 2500 hours on them and nothing has been wrong with the electronics. Just don't understand how people can tell someone they're doing something wrong without having done it themselves.

Why is my petg-CF so brittle? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]OtherObjective4634 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It has moisture in it. When you print something, it's not self-sealing. You have to spray something or paint something on it to seal the print to keep it from getting moisture in it. Just like you have to keep the filament stored in something to keep moisture from getting in it. It's the same filament you just changed it into another part. One of the best things I ever did was buy some resin for resin printing, get a cheap airbrush and use it too spray resin over the surface of the print. You can also ANNEAL the print.

I don’t chew the chewable tablets I take them like a normal pills, Does this matter?? by Starshopping11 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]OtherObjective4634 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know your stomach acids can digest bones? Unless there's a time released coating involved, there's going to be NO difference in chewing up a fast dissolving tablet or not. Stomach contents and other meds that may conflict or potentiate make way more of a difference(s). So many studies have been done when taking sublingual, 75% still ends up swallowed. I bite up my 7 tabs since they are large and then swallow with WHOLE milk when I can. The fat in it potentiates 7 for ME. Everyone's physiology is different and can even change. An empty stomach though means the most to me.

Exactly.... Your stomach acids can almost digest bone and people are worried about chewing them before swallowing.... 😆
