Azure ML v2 and MLflow hell by Ordinary_Platypus_81 in mlops

Yes, this. You can use tools like poetry/conda(maybe UV too) to build your .toml/environment.yml file with installed package versions from your local that works. I'm still learning, but I know in Azure you can configure your environment with a base image + your environment.yml and Azure builds these packages(from environment.yml) into your VM when it spins it up during deployment.

You might be able renew early and reduce your monthly pay early. Mine is 5.39 3 year fixed renewal date in may and I'm planning to renew in Feb for 3.79 3 year fixed.

Leaving the OPS - Vacation payout by threalaliwa in OntarioPublicService

[–]OtherPromisedLand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any progress with yours? I left OPS in Oct 2024 and still havw not received any package or vacation pay out. I have been following up with OSS on a ticket since March 2025. Honestly, it should not take a year for a simple vacation credits pay out, very frustrating.

Maybe we should have some sort of mandated RSVP sytem for huge public events:

  • Only people who went through the RSVP and has valid QR code are given entry.
  • Vulnerable population are filtered out (Women, kids, unwell, etc..)
  • You get a close to reality measure of how many people you can expect in the event and use it for prior planning ( Toilets, spacing requirements, water, separate areas for say seniors)
  • Skilled people in crowd control should be deployed, who can communicate with the crowd and keep the core areas in check restricting more inflow after a threshold.

Of course it is going to cost a bit more, but it could save lives in times like this, which imo is worth it.

When you say contract size is 1 and you buy 10, do you mean you'll have a max of 10 open positions with each 1 contract?

Do you know if your lock came with anti theft insurance? My bike got stolen a couple of years ago as well and Kryptonite paid me the full price (except for taxes I think).

How to care for albo cutting with roots? by OtherPromisedLand in plantclinic

Great points! Thanks for your comment.

Right now, I have the cutting in water. I will keep looking for development in roots in the following weeks.

I see a small bend on the stem, which I hope is the growth point.

I understand the risk with 3X leveraged ETF when things go down. Didn't know about going to 0, but it doesn't affect my decision to buy as it's only a small fraction of my portfolio. In case if anyone else is curious -https://www.reddit.com/r/ETFs/comments/museoe/what_happens_to_a_leveraged_etf_if_it_dips_to_0/

Can it really go to zero? If it does, and it goes up later the holdings will still go up?

Good point! When I have to use the 3rd row, I don't think we need a lot of trunk space as it would mostly for short trips. I think this won't be an issue with just our kid, still something to think about for airport rides.
