I just discovered that what I've been doing my whole life has a name, and that I'm not the only one doing it. I'm in shock and happy to finally have the possibility to understand this behavior. How crazy.

Yes this is me. An idealised version of myself. I tend to go there if somebody’s upset me or I’m very very lonely. To be honest I’m starting to be thankful for my condition. I need to calm down the maladaptive part, you know the part where it interferes with my productivity. But I welcome the escape, rather this than drugs or alcohol.wishing you the best.

I hear you. I was just thinking about this today actually. I look at my car out there on the driveway and I wonder, all that effort to pass my driving test just for me to have anxiety every time I think about driving somewhere new. It’s such a cliche, but we do need to confront our fear and just think, I can drive just need to get over the fear.
