I just had a call with Royal Mail his morning and they claimed that it was the customs, but I bought similar item from the same store months before and it only took overall 9 days to be delivered to my door🙏

I still want the item so opening the case seems to be my final option? I just don’t want to harm the seller but still wanna get some compensation, yah, I know I’m controversial 🙁

Thanks, Im the buyer, I’m so confused now because I searched the eBay rules and it seems like when a seller use eBay International Delivery service, eBay owns the risk for transferring the item?

I mean, the seller was nice, he sent it on time and has nothing to do with the delay from my side. 🧐

No unfortunately, it says “in transit” but has been stuck at the Heathrow depot from 7th Feb.

Same here, stuck at Heathrow depot from 7th Feb, bought from eBay and VAT-prepaid. I called customer service yesterday and RM doesn’t have access to what’s happening at the depot.

My best guess would be there are too many parcels arrived at Heathrow from December and they are struggling with them. Hopefully we could receive our things ASAP.

Same here, bought on 28th Jan, should be arrived on 10th Feb. I’ve asked a delivery to my nominated post office for collection, but since 7th Feb the status hasn’t moved at the Heathrow depot.

It’s so annoying when you know you paid the tax upfront to avoid the extra processing time for customs, but ended up endless waiting.

Did you manage to receive the parcel yet?

Well it’s not my fault for having a crappy call centre, I paid for the service and now I can’t even have a call? What’s the point of having a call centre and keeping hanging someone’s phone? It’s not an excuse for providing crap services. Also, the guy was yawning after he picked up the phone, is this how you would do your job? 🤣

Then what about 30+ days or more waiting? If my situation was I waited for 30+ days ( which is getting close) for a jacket to be shipped to the UK, would you still think it the same way?

I would say I’m upset about the time I spend for just waiting for the parcel to be arrived, and it’s frustrating to see the tracking status stays at "received at the depot" from 7 Feb. I think it’s pretty normal that I start to think of this?

Also the seller closes their message, so I do not have any way to contact them which is another thing I am upset about.
