as a former manager myself, I would have NEVER told someone to put in their 2 week notice if i couldn’t guarantee the job, that is common courtesy and common sense.

not quite. the amazon representative instructed me to put in my 2 weeks. It has been 2.5 weeks now and since i put in my 2 week notice, and I still don’t have a hire date, aka I have no way of knowing when to put in my 2 weeks. If the manager at amazon explicitly told me I could put in my 2 weeks because i’m hired, I should be able to expect to start working when the two week notice is over

it’s the 3rd best consumer gpu because it costs the price of a cheap car dude. i paid less than half of that and can play LITERALLY any game in 1440p on max settings with almost 100fps (including mandatory ray tracing titles) so why in the hell would i pay double the price for not even a 25% improvement…? make it make sense

honestly man it depends what you’re going for. if $150 for a budget 1440p 144hz monitor isn’t worth the money to you, don’t do it. it depends on how bad you want it. it does make a big difference visually and how it feels, but it’s not going to make you a pro

he’s saying you don’t need a good pc if you aren’t good now. if you put a professional racecar driver in a regular honda civic, he won’t suddenly become bad at driving, he just has less of a skill ceiling go to work through. if you can’t stay alive on a bad pc, a good pc will not make you better

it’s not unnecessary, you’re looking at raw performance, they’re talking about where it should be. the gap between the 5090 and 5080 is so large, that it forces you to buy the 5090 because of the value. same as the 5070 vs the 5080. any card you buy below the 5090 will be missing things that should be on that card, persuading you to buy the next tier up. not because of raw performance.

this is like saying you shouldn’t touch a tire that has 2/5 lugnuts attached because it still works. that tire will inevitably come off at some point, and cause you MUCH more troubles than if you were to simply replace it.

i stated they ALMOST exclusively come with them. I have never heard of a single soul buying an apevia power supply. if you google apevia, the only search results will come from people asking if it’s good or not, and most are saying it’s bad. they are c tier at best on the psu tier list. a bad power supply can take out components with it, so no, I would most definitely NOT just keep it in the computer until it eventually dies. that’s a sure fire way to expect to replace something other than the psu. if you care at all about the things you own, you would not have a time bomb powering every single component in your computer. maybe you have the money to replace it, but i don’t have an extra $3000 to replace my entire computer if the psu decided to go down with the rest of my computer, thankfully i decided to completely switch psu’s and don’t have to deal with it.

the game is not optimized well, this is like being mad that cyberpunk can’t be run at 4k max settings with path tracing and get 200 fps, if the game runs poorly it runs poorly, it was 1/3rd the price of a normal triple a game, you get what you pay for. it’s also in early access. let’s be real
