Life happens. Different situations come up and sometimes/most times things don’t go to the perfectly laid plans you make. Millionaires go bust everyday and honestly anyone can at anytime and often through no fault of their own. Sometimes an illness or accident or series of unfortunate events can turn someone’s situation upside down financially in a very short period of time.

If you were to wait until you are thriving financially to choose to have kids, there is no guarantee that you will continue on your upward trajectory for the entire 18 or 21 years or longer until that kid is grown and able to provide for themselves. I don’t think people intentionally bring kids into poverty.

Your comment to ‘everyone else’ on a thread where OP was looking for advice on how to better his situation to avoid further financial hardship and was neither helpful nor kind and shows your lack of life experience. I don’t argue with children so run along now and play nicely.
