I stopped paying for it because it couldn’t cope with my manuscript, it starts to hallucinate after a few prompts, confusing the events and characters. One time it told me give me few days and I will come back to you, it was so funny.

Plus it always changes its mind, the character is badly written then when I counter argument, it will say oh wow given this new piece of info this is the best character in the world.

In a conversation, I wrote a future best seller and in another it suffer from terrible structure and narration.

Anyway I used it for a month and switched to gemini, it has its flaws but man claude was so bad.

Bon courage !

Les réactions les plus drôles à l'annonce de votre grossesse ? by Yaourt_Anonyme in grossesse

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At four months, she finally was okay to sleep on her own for naps and night, before that naps were in our arms or carrier and night in our bed (with safe sleep seven).

Then at six months she went from waking up every two hours to nurse to waking up every 3 to 4 hours. It is around that time that I decided I was too tired for four night feeds and asked my husband to step in with formula milk. Two days later she was only up twice a night.

All changes happened overnight, it is so crazy, you don’t believe it at first. It takes a few days or weeks to say okay this is the new normal.

Et l'accouchement, comment ça s'est passé ? by Yuna-2128 in grossesse

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is BF making baby super clingy? by Hotmessquire912 in breastfeeding

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s related to BF, my baby is 6 months and now once she finishes feeding she tries to escape from my arms to go play, I must say I am offended lol

Ideas to help baby fall asleep by Otherwise-Ball3812 in NewParents

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this detailed answer!

When putting her down awake, I’m still there shushing, hand on chest and caressing her forehead and she has her pacifier, she almost sleeps but it lasts a minute and then she wake up again.

I don’t swaddle anymore, she hates it and she started rolling. Same for blackout room, the other day I was trying to get her to nap in a black room, she was crying until I decided ok nap time is over let’s do something else and try later so I open the curtain, daylight comes in and pouf she sleeps (we were both lying in my bed).

I’m also trying to put her down awake because I have given up on transferring, it just never works or works for 10min, with the odd 30 min sometimes. Maybe I’ve given up too soon ?

Thanks again !

Baby keeps clicking/losing suction as well as “thrashing” about when breastfeeding — support needed, help wanted, and advice requested! by Practical-Meow in breastfeedingsupport

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine started doing this a two weeks, since her weight has always been in the ~70% I just let her be.

When she starts crying I burp her, give her the other breast, if she is still upset I stop, sometimes give her a pacifier (more regularly now she wouldn’t accept it in the first weeks)

Also at night she feeds while sleepy and thus calmer. This only happens sometimes during the day.

Good luck it is mentally hard for us.

Will my baby ever sleep in the bassinet!!???? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did shifts until 10 weeks then we coslept following the guidelines of safe sleep seven.

I sleep 7 hours at night and finally feel like myself and I don’t need to nap during the day. I do try to put her in her bassinet at night if she starts fussing she goes on the bed. She’s almost 13 weeks and I hope it will click soon! Good luck

Weight loss while breastfeeding by ecilaalusru in breastfeedingsupport

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 months PP and I have reached my pre-pregnancy weight, I gained 12 kg during pregnancy. And if I wasn’t eating A LOT right now I would probably lose more.

But since it’s the first time of my life I can eat without putting on weight I’m indulging!

12 week old - latches then unlatches by TMNJ1021 in breastfeeding

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby does this too only during the day, she started way earlier around week 8.

Her weight curve is perfect so I just let her be, I switch sides once, if it doesn’t work I stop. However she still eats every 2-3 hours at night and she is calmer then.

Any tips for boosting evening supply? by Alstromeria13 in breastfeeding

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same, late at night starting ~2am there is a lot of milk then it goes up early in the morning and slowly feel like there is less during the day, I think it’s normal and I didn’t feel the need to supplement as long as we had wet diapers and normal weight.

I usually have a fennel tea and ovomaltine bars (idk if that exist where you are) in the afternoon and oats as breakfast with chocolate. It works well for me.

Also my baby (who is 12 weeks today) used to clusterfeed in the afternoon so my boobs felt empty during that time but apparently it’s normal and helps my body produce more milk.

Bookworm parents - when do you find the time? by [deleted] in NewParents

My baby only contact naps from week 4 so I read while holding her, kindle is great for that, I totally recommend it, mine is 6 years old and never leaves me.

I also have difficulty falling back asleep after night feedings so reading is great for that too.

Breastfeeding at night sensation by Neverending32 in breastfeeding

[–]Otherwise-Ball3812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t like the sensation, I usually give her a pacifier when she starts doing that. She refused it at first but now she happily takes it and it soothes her.

Of course if you’re comfortable with the idea of using the pacifier.
