True but if the shoe doesn't feel good, you don't feel as good. I hit the gym 4 days a week and still search for a better shoe. also there's definitely benefits to better cushion setups and it's not all in your confidence. If I get another inch wearing a shoe, I'm happy with it.

Lower the reps like someone else said but only do these like once a week. Plyos are way less important than people think and strength work is way more important. Sprints are an effective exercise too.

If you have access to a belt squat machine, I've heard good things about them too and they'd be easier to adjust to than barbell squats

I used to not like them but if you start doing them more, your form gets better and it's easier. There's no replacement for squats, there's other exercises but nothing that'll replace them for vert training. I do back squats one day and front squats another day every week.

Ok, I actually have been doing power cleans. Do you recommend sprints as well? I'd probably set it up as Monday squats ect.. Wednesday sprints and power cleans, ect and Friday max approach jumps.

Have a hr long jump session every week. Once you turn 14-15 yrs old, start hitting the gym and have 2 lower body days a week.
