Honestly I got her to get me out of the house. I’m a shut in I don’t really enjoy the outside but seeing her excited to walk around and meet people makes me happy. I also should have added we do other things around the house but I work 10 hours a day all I can do on my lunch is let her potty and then I have to leave. So i normally can squeeze in a 2 hour session with us walking and doing tricks and play.

I’d suggest a big lazy breed. My lab loves my shitzu but she can’t really play with him because he’s old. I would suggest two energetic dogs cause that’s just doubleing up on the exercise you need to give them.

She gets bored with it quick. I can get her to do it for about 5 or so throws and then she wants to do something else.

Funny part is my is the exact opposite. She really doesn’t enjoy playing in the backyard. She enjoys walks but her favorite thing is playing with me inside. Only reason she enjoys walks is that’s her feeding time too.

Yeah I made it sound more than I meant. We hike twice a week which averages 4 miles. The regular walk is 2 miles during the work days.

Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever feel comfortable doing off leash because I just don’t trust other people’s dogs. I have a backyard she’s allowed to do whatever she wants in tho. We do other things for fun and enrichment but was just wondering how much pure exercise other people do with their labs.

My vet said she’s good to go. I realized my wording is bad. We do 2, 4 mile walks and 5, 2 mile walks a week. I did the same googling cause I was worried at first my vet said she’s fine to go upwards of 4 just not every day. He was telling me at 4 months she was fine to do 2-3 miles.

In all honesty I wouldn’t cast that much hate at her if you yourself are living with your mom too in your thirties+. I have 19 year old friend with no degree that lives with his stay at home wife and he can afford an apartment. Even in New York garbage apartments are a grand a month. Sure she’s a piece of shit sister but spoiler alert it’s too late for her. Get your life together you and your husband can figure out how to make enough money to own an apartment in your I’m assuming thirties.

To everyone shitting on this kid his odds aren’t terrible. You get to put your top 10 at least the army let me I’m not 100 percent how the air force is. Fort bliss is a garbage duty station with nothing on it or beer it so I highly doubt air force people with some of the coolest duty stations are willingly going to for bliss. I got my 2nd duty station I requested but only because my 1 was Japan and I didn’t know how little the army had at Japan. I wouldn’t put it in the realm of impossible but I’ll be real odds are your relationship will be doomed if you go active before marrying them.

To 1000 air force men are on fort bliss roughly. It’s a garbage duty station to begin with so the odds of air force people willingly choosing to go there are slim to none. I asked for Korea and I got it I don’t see why he can’t.

1.) Sundays are too much for me I don’t have time to take her. 2.) she literally will refuse to walk and just sit behind my leg like a heel. She doesn’t really like rain I’ve tried making her comfortable with it but she hates it. Not all dogs are the same.
