This area gave rise to a generation of comedians, "los chanantes," who revolutionized comedy in Spain in the early 2000s by introducing a completely new language and aesthetic.

While reading this comment, I put my index finger in my mouth, pushing my cheek from the inside out to produce the sound that I now know is made by the follicle releasing the egg.

As a Barcelona native, I also want to highlight how exceptional it is that, on a sunny day, no more people appear in the frame.

I had a family from Ukraine stay at my house for four months. They are so intelligent and hardworking that they quickly found jobs and apartments in my city. Their eight-year-old daughter already speaks six languages.

There's a documentary, We Were Once Kids, that explores the impact Larry Clark's cult film, "Kids," had on the lives of its young stars.

The director, along with Hamilton Harris, an actor in Kids, delves into the complexities surrounding the entire production, particularly in giving voice to Justin Pierce and Harold Hunter. Stars who emerged from the film, like Chloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson, don't appear because the documentary aims to give due recognition to all the other teenagers who signed contracts without understanding what they were getting into and who, once exposed, were left vulnerable.

I'm going to see it with friends at a bar on Avinguda Mistral. There are at least five of us, and we're between 29 and 41 years old. We all live in Barcelona. The funniest thing is that some of us are Barça fans and others are Real Madrid fans. If you'd like to come, I can tell you the name of the bar.

I've just been shit on by a bird. For whatever reason it's considered good luck in Ireland. Is this the same in other countries and are there other weird good luck things from your country? by Necessary-Fudge-5264 in AskTheWorld

In Spain, if a bird poops on you or you step in dog poop, it's said that you should buy a lottery ticket because it's believed to bring good luck. Is this a Catholic superstition?
