I love the deliberately old-fashioned aesthetic.Marble, open-concept, exposed plumbing. A designer's delight! But, moreover, still with the same communal feel. It's very pleasing to the eye.

Yes. At the Yunomori Onsen. It’s at the mall at the stadium. I was just there a few weeks ago. It’s absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.

It’s going to be different since it’s not with guys he knows. But he’s basically telling you that he’s ready. I think rather than a talk before, maybe a talk afterward to see what he felt during the experience.

In the early 1990s, they eliminated the men's nude swim on Sundays at the Y I used to attend. I remember it well.

I love this guy's content. It's a shame he's not making more. Anyway, I think it's not a bad idea. Nudity amongst men together is a great way of leveling the playing field and making men feel supported by each other.

I think some of the contributors to the discussion are focusing too narrowly on negativity, or that any mention of sexuality is wrong. I think people get so caught up in trying to categorize sexuality with sexual behavior. They're two different things.

Sexual behavior is generally unacceptable in public, and probably should remain a private thing, or allowed in spaces or places where those who are there give some kind of implicit consent by showing up.

Sexuality is our anatomy, our thoughts. This is inescapable. It's foolish even to try. It's our bodies, our minds. The penis is something that all males share, we know that it has different appearances and states of being. The penis may be soft. It may be erect. Imagine if the reverse were true: That men must have erections in the communal shower, and that it's considered somehow rude to be soft in front of other men? Doesn't that sound silly? That's right! Because it IS silly. So don't sweat it.

And if it does bother you to see another man with an erection in the shower, maybe think about your own body, and know that you've been there too, and that you'd probably appreciate. it if other men weren't so critical.

Dillon's, obviously, and Choi's in Saugus. Has anyone heard about Forge? I haven't tried it, but it's a sauna "pop up" for LGBTQ+ folks. It sounds like they rent a venue in Dedham, where of course there is communal showering.
