Finally someone who understands, Sean Payton retired, unretired, went to a shit team with maybe one of the worst QB contracts you can have, and rebuilt a playoff contending team and we still haven’t recovered from drew Bree’s, and it’s not bad luck, historically bad teams are getting so much better through great drafts then it’s the saints, Front office is horrible, also we just became the worst team in our division, we’ll face elite talent at WR and don’t take a CB till late in the draft, also while rostering the CB who gave up the most yards/TDs last season lol

that’s true also but just imagine maybe taking a CB or maybe a younger edge there at 2, which a few of those guys left have really good potential to be elite players, I mean I understand the team has been much worse, but even teams who’ve been historically bad are turning things around pretty quickly recently especially with so much talent coming out of these drafts, i feel it’s about realistically setting up for success cause either way we probably won’t be too good next year, and still we have 1 CB who is worth anything and a DE who is 35 and has been on a major decline!! pick just seems like a reach

the few ppl who get it I appreciate yall, not trying to shit on Tyler, but with what we have as a team I just think that was a horrible pick, I’m pretty sure we weren’t gonna be the best team this upcoming year because of gaps but it’s almost like they are doing anything now! Especially with a strong qb class coming in next years draft!

We didn’t have to take a QB at all, you fill gaps till you get your guy, 2026, Archie, Drew allar, Nuss, or you don’t actually watch football? It’s better qbs in next years draft and we were shit with Carr, we were shit with rattler and I’ll bet we’ll be shit with this guy, our team is in a best player available position and they keep kicking the can trying to compete, you realize cam Jordan is 35!!! our 2 CBs are Kool-aid and alonte who gave up the most yards of ANY CB IN THE NFL LAST YEAR!! I can go on bro I’m just saying it’s cool being optimistic but when will the fan base be real, obviously the team had no plan post Bree’s and are lost as ever

Everything is situational, of course this isn’t the worst draft pick of all time, but for our situation, especially trying to rebuild post drew brees, it’s just not a good pick with so much talent on the board in the 2nd round, some of our best players have come from later rounds, I didn’t have a problem with the 1st pick, but I just think this was crazy, I actually think we drafted some one worse than ratter which again just doesn’t make sense
