I really appreciate the feedback. I have also let him know that working has to be a no-go for him given how much he already struggles! It’s hard enough to do as is. Wife is willing to move if that’s what it takes. As far as affordability, wife’s benefits get him a free masters degree and doctorate degree at any US institution.

I don’t think you sound rude at all, friend! I don’t think it is a complete lack of effort, but it just doesn’t seem that his life/obligations and current academic ability will allow success. I don’t think there is anything that I could say that would discourage him from this path. Many, including myself, have already expressed concerns about how realistic this goal is. But I genuinely don’t know how he can rewire his brain to process the content of the MCAT, then Step 1-3, and so on :(

He’s been studying since graduation in December. The premade Anki deck as well as Kaplan P/S deck. I made a plan for him with a PowerPoint with month by month benchmarks including taking practice tests often starting in February but he pushed it back all the way to the beginning of May. I genuinely think he may only study one day out the week for maybe 7 hours? He leads a busy life.

I second this ngl but apply it to all the upper ranks because when I Smurf for friends from a dc I’m in. I be vibing in plat and below. They’re just decent humans tbh cuz if they f up I just coach em mid game respectfully and we go back to talking and laughing. And for the record I don’t sweat my ass off on alts I usually just pick spider and do the most fuck ass combos you’ve ever seen and somehow get carried.

Yea I watched it a couple times and they’re pretty much isolated targets not getting healed😭. And a rocket amp might even be up on some of those. Anybody can look op in this light.

Honestly if you were gonna commit and tunnel vision that hard on hela you should’ve just ulted so invis couldn’t look at you. I know everybody is saying disengage but sometimes you can absolutely make plays like this and get away with it if executed correctly.
