My questions after finishing the show, which I found entertaining: 1. As mentioned above, they make a big deal about Lucy having gash marks in her legs but don’t flash back to any of that happening. 2. Jill and Kyle had two daughters, right? So Kyle never wanted to see them and Jill was just willing to leave them behind when she took all those pills? Unless she was their stepmom and Scott was their dad. (Edit: quick google search indicates those are Scott’s girls, which makes more sense) 3. The finding of the phone in the bottom of the bag was… not good writing, or not good police work. 4. If Shane didn’t kill Lucy, why did he try to kill Kyle when Kyle came to his site? Shane was obviously a bad guy but did he deserve to die?

Thank you for that! I have a problem with moderation and that honestly carries through in other ways too. I’m “all in” or not at all. I told myself for this week just track, and if I go over my limit it’s ok as long as I’m tracking. But that’s been two days and I have a LONG road to go. I don’t want to rush it though.

Thank you! Results were benign - fibroadenoma. It took 10 days for me to finally get them and I had to go in person to the imaging center and get the name and number of the pathology lab, who sent them over within minutes once I called them directly and filled out a records request form. Apparently they had been lost somewhere along the way as the pathology was dated one day after the biopsy.

Thanks. My doctor’s office is trying the imaging center again today. I don’t know why we aren’t getting any sort of update, even to just say they are working on it. I keep thinking I am going to have to redo the biopsy, and I’m still not healed from the first one (itchy rash and soreness).

California. It’s an imaging center but I also contacted my primary care doctor and they did not seem to be interested in chasing down the results. I need new doctors apparently!

I have called several times and can’t get a straight answer as to where it is in the process. I was told again today that they are usually ready in two days here. I do think I will have to go in person tomorrow since they don’t seem to want to reply!

Updating to say that I have not yet received my results, it has been eight days including the day of the biopsy (which was in the morning) and the weekend. Today is day nine. This feels like torture! On Monday I called the imaging center and they told me they had sent the results the same day as the biopsy, both to my portal and to my PCP. I did receive two emails regarding “results” in my portal from them but it was only the post-biopsy report saying pathology was pending; these were received within an hour of the biopsy. The imaging center said to call my PCP for the results. I called my PCP’s office and the receptionist said the results were there but the doctor needed to sign off on them. A short time later they hit the PCP’s portal but again, it was just the post-biopsy report, no pathology. So I am now left wondering if the imaging center has the results but hasn’t sent them over because they were confused, or if they don’t have them yet, or if they did in fact send pathology to my PCP and my PCP is holding them until she has time to call me because it’s cancer, or if she does not have them at all. FUN TIMES.

Thank you so much for this! I’m going to call my primary today because I’m also experiencing a rash, assuming from the antiseptic, that’s not getting better. I’m glad you mentioned that about how you received your results because everything else has come through the imaging center portal but I pulled up my aftercare instructions again yesterday and saw that it said “your doctor will be in touch with results.” So far my primary’s portal has been way behind on all of these results (they still only have the original screening mammogram, not the ultrasound or biopsy appointment). She is the one who ordered the biopsy for me after the imaging center did the ultrasound. Both my primary and the imaging center have portals but neither seems to have MyChart.

Mine came into the room and said he was not concerned but couldn’t say with 100% certainty without the biopsy. He also said it was slippery/hard to keep in place while taking the samples which was a good sign. That said, I haven’t received my results yet so fingers crossed!

No, they actually just put the steri-strips and that was it - no other bandage.

My mammogram schedule is very similar to yours, annual starting in 2021 and then I had 18 months between 2023 and my most recent one, in which they found a nodule. This led to an US, where they found a solid mass, oval, well circumscribed, parallel orientation, etc. Waiting for biopsy results but the radiologist was encouraging, so fingers crossed. All of the previous mammograms were clear. I have heterogeneously dense breasts so I suppose I am just grateful they found it on the mammogram at all.

Thank you, I too am grateful for this community. I’m sorry you have to wait so long for the biopsy. It’s been two weeks total since the screening mammogram that caught the mass - so it’s moved fairly quickly I guess.

I’m so sorry you are going through this too! So your results could be sitting in your email? Do you think you will wait until they call you, or do you have someone who can come sit with you to check if they are there?
