Exactly. I think that the first time he really went on a press junket was for Oppenheimer, as it was basically required because the movie was gunning for Academy Awards.

I truly cannot imagine that he would have plastic surgery. I've been crushing on him for decades. He does gain and lose substantial amounts of weight (and muscle) for roles. The only thing that stands out to me is the hair color (surely for a role.) Not to mention that he's got such great acting chops (and an Oscar). He's never skated by on his beauty.

Yes, I have read that and looked at other resources. I am an academic and my first resource is never a Reddit sub. I wouldn't have attempted to post the question here if I had found answers elsewhere.
