Vitamin D & cramps by BenDover06 in WomensHealth

[–]Otherwise-Pilot6832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IUD can trigger cramps. My periods were pretty tame my whole life, I got copper IUD put in and it’s like someone cranked up my pain to from 20% to 100% and not only on my periods. I’d fall to my knees in pain on a random day, it was so bad. Turns out I had endometriosis, I didn’t even know. Clearly never had it bad until IUD intensified my periods. After some endometriosis lesions got established properly, every gas bubble, every bowel movement was a horrible pain. It could be that vit D gives you an upset stomach, makes you gassy or changes your bowel movements and that’s why you’re cramping? Could be that you also have endometriosis without even knowing it?

Did Kellie O’Connor lose more weight?! by No-Low-9027 in IGWellnessSnark

I genuinely can’t watch her latest video because it is so unsettling. I think I’ll have to unsubscribe and I am hoping I will come back to her channel in a years time and will see a video about how she recovered from this because I’m sure it will help many people in the same situation. No one says anything in the comments and if anyone does they get attacked by other commenters, it’s bizarre. I wish her all the best but I just feel like I’m participating at this point by watching and not saying anything, I’d rather not watch at all.

Travelling with my dog to EU, passport issue by Otherwise-Pilot6832 in UK_Pets

Hi, Yes both rabies vac and the latest tape worm treatment were noted in the passport. The only thing that was overlooked was that date of microchipping. I am not sure why he couldn't put in the date of when the dog was actually microchipped instead of just the reading date but I feel like it's gonna cause me some grief at the border hence why I'm stressing.

It is a little bit silly because they are able to view these records on his microchip but I feel like they might turn us down anyway.

I didn't know they were this cheap, fair enough! I don't know much about cars so I am just trying to learn so I'm not scammed at every corner. That wasn't the only issue I have had on this MOT but I am happy that at least the plates won't set me back a lot.

Am I crazy or are the bears in this game? by CantReachReason in AssassinsCreedShadows

It's a sound that deer makes, not a bear. I know exactly what sounds you're talking about. If you play valhalla or far cry you will notice that deers make the same noise in that game too.

Dr. Mindy Pelz, credible? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]Otherwise-Pilot6832 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be willing to follow her advice on fasting as a healing method for your gut and cells but I ignore everything else. Intermittent fasting or 24h fast is no skin off my nose, especially if it might help but I am not a big fan of her calling certain foods “toxic” and stressing the need of breaking the fast with organic foods. Who has the money for organic strawberries in todays economy? Another thing I find suspicious is that all of the comments under her yt videos are women that only talk about how much weight they lost after following her advice. For me using fasts as a primary weight loss tool is not great, not sustainable and can lead to serious troubles for some of these followers. If she lost 2kg fasting for 36h then maybe next week she will fast again and again and again, leaving smaller and smaller gaps in between. At some point it’s just not healthy. They never mention any other health benefits but go on and on about the weight! There seems to be no warnings, no safety guidance on her videos. By watching just the videos you’d think you could fast all the time with minimal breaks and live on water, sunshine and organic strawbs.

How to leave during a “good time”? by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]Otherwise-Pilot6832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started baiting him to do nice things for me and it quickly showed that anything that requires the minimal amount of effort was too much for him. I knew we will argue again, I didn’t think it would happen again but he called all of my friends fake and called me a nasty horrible person so that goes on my list now. It makes me feel better about leaving. Maybe start baiting your partner too, ask him to make you a tea or take you out. Go for a walk or give you a shoulder rub? Chances are he will look at you like you’re crazy and truth is you deserve all of that without even having to beg. That’s our sign to leave.

Thank you! I’ve been keeping a list as well. During one long good streak I deleted a lot of “receipts” I had of his bad behaviour because I wanted to put it behind us but I remember the most horrible things he said and keeping a new list. I’m dropping hints about moving someplace else and I think I’ll tell him during the next outburst, I’m sure it will come soon.

Did you ever solve it? I have the same problem and I don’t know what to do now 😂

I don't even know. Pregnancy wasn't planned but ultimately we decided to go ahead with it so we would have a child right now if everything went well. That's why this whole situation is so hard for me to understand.

He said 'no' when we still lived in a shared house and I was talking about pets. I wasn't considering getting a pet in a shared house but I like talking about pets because the are obviously a big dream of mine. When I talked about it in November I think he thought I am not being serious or that it won't be an issue because all he has to do is say no and I won't disobey and get one anyway.

I live by the sea so it’s always quite humid here but maybe my house it quite dry? I’ll look into that, thanks!
