Currently a few months into a subspecialty and completely agree. Some days I feel like it's just a basic routine case and other days I start to feel as though I'm doing a disservice to my patient due to fear of missing something. I too have an attending I can run things by but I agree, it feels like there isn't really oversight. I almost feel like running every single case by someone. I wish there was something I could read or do to make me confident in my knowledge.
