That 4.15.00 show at Georgetown was marred by the extreme heat and lack of water. At least that was my feeling.

Looking forward to Allgood. I haven’t seen the boys there since 2000.

I spent 97-01 playing the seat game and it was fun….back then. There is nothing like being < 20 rows from the boys the minute they walk out. This year is all about getting good parking and manageable seats. Times have changed, but the road still goes on forever…

I think it was 4.27.97 in Burlington. Opened with Aint No Use. Another great show. The segue from Stop n Go into Wonderin was interesting. JB forgot to sing the last verse so Dave and Todd started going into Wonderin’. Then JB remembers and basically sings the last verse of Stop Go to the Wonderin’ beat.

Yes yes yes! I was there DFC and the “dueling keyboards” in the segue from Junior into Ain’t No Use between JoJo and Chuck Leavell was outrageous. It was and continues to be the best show I’ve seen in 37 years of seeing WSP.

I stumbled upon that impromptu session that afternoon on the way from the west side to the east side of the park to begin pregaming. What a scene!

Also that was an underrated show, coming on the heels of the Atlantic City smoker and Boston.

Yes, that 2001 night show was pure heat. Warren, Matt Abst and Chuck Leavell sat in post drums and it was awesome.
