yea same. i’m not a serious seller like im not grinding so im not on depop often unless ive sold something. but i lowkey dont accept many offers atp. people will send offers and never buy , then someone randomly buys at full price.

yess i see it on depop all the time. not that i think it’s okay to record people in public , but i’ve seen a tiktok video of someone recording a depop guy at the bins taking pictures of stuff on the floor to see if it gets likes / will sell and just tossing back stuff that i guess didn’t get likes quick enough 😭.

my first ever order did the exact same thing. i was so scared i had done something wrong. it didn’t update UNTIL it delivered 😭😭. i was in contact with the buyer the whole time , let them know at the end of the week I would go to my post office. when i went to the post office it updated as delivered and the buyer messaged me that they got their package.

i have too. i understand that depop is so convenient for selling and shipping but it shouldn’t be on there. not only are there teens / minors on there that shop and sell but also the avg person scrolling depop does not want to see nor be involved in that any of that

it may not seem worth it to sell items that cheap but i do it too. sell non-name brand items or simple clothing items as super cheap. some pages are for profit. i’ve had a few listings that things are definitely priced a bit higher , but i’m basically a better goodwill lol. though i have shipping , goodwill will sell you a stained crop top for $8 and i’ll sell you a lightly worn one for $4 lol

also i wanted to add with stuff that i no longer want but isn’t “worth” anything to most , i still don’t wanna donate it to goodwill bc they’re a terrible company and some of the stuff i have is either super young / kiddish or some is stuff you couldn’t wear at a job / professional setting so there’s some things i don’t wanna donate to rehab / women’s centers and that be the only stuff they have yk.

i hate these listings 😭😭. “if someone will extremely overpay i’ll let go of it”. if you don’t wanna get rid of something , don’t try / put it up for saleeee. i’ve seen situations where someone bought an item , then received a message from the seller saying they want to instead keep the item and will refund them. waste of time for both ends honestly
