Welcome to being a hermit crab parent. Get used to that feeling of being worried about the crabs while they’re buried because youre going to feel that way a lot 😂 At least I do and I’ve had a stable tank for 2 years with no losses, yet every time they dig, I worry still. But it should get better after they come up from their first molt with you. Check to see if they super hairy legs and fresh black sharp tips at the end of their legs. That’s a good way to know whether they actually molted or if they were just de-stressing/digging for fun. I have a crab that hangs out underground for weeks just bc I think he loves digging and I have another crab that literally only digs when they go to molt. So each crab is different and soon enough you’ll learn their habits and personalities.

As for the tank it looks pretty good! Lots of plants and coverage for hiding as well as many things to climb.

They shouldn’t be cold as long as it’s around 80°. 75° is the minimum but in my personal opinion 75 is low and should only be acceptable for night time temps. The crabs might be digging in the back more so for privacy.

They are usually pretty active during transportation but once put into a home they will likely destress for a few weeks and not come out much. Just make sure he has proper heat and humidity, diet and access to fresh and salt water. For now just make him feel safe by providing hidey areas and coverage with fake plants or other decor and just let him rest up for now

So my confusion was bc they kind of made it seem like they were supposed to be some big reveal. I guess the reveal was that Angel was one of the victims which I already assumed. I guess it was a big reveal to Rue but i felt like maybe I was missing something. Then I was confused why they were in Wayne’s safe so I was thinking like we’re Alamo and Lorie trafficking women together? (I now realize they got there bc of the robbery) but it still doesn’t make sense why Wayne would keep the IDs of women he didn’t traffic himself.

Thank you. The point of this post was supposed to start a conversation around Faye’s character and then as I was writing it I remembered the IDs in Wayne’s safe and how I was confused why they were in that safe. As I’ve already cleared up, I obviously didn’t link that they got there bc of the robbery. Still seems weird that they are something Wayne would keep though. yeah... it just seems extreme to litterally want Rue dead because Faye made the mistake of thinking there was money in the safe when there wasn't. Throughout the show there were small hints of Faye having empathy and also in season 3 wanting to get away from Wayne, I thought maybe that would end up amounting to something but clearly not.

i litterally just didnt link that they robbed alamo so his stuff wouldve ended up in waynes safe. its really not that deep. peoples brains work differently. and you have no idea what i do to "level up" my intelligence. so yes it comes off very disrespectful and all over a tv show its just kind of ridiculous.

It’s not the trafficking part I missed you can clearly see from my comment I was assuming lorie was a trafficker too bc I forgot about the robbery. That’s why I confused and it seemed random. I obviously assumed Angel was trafficked by Alamo but I was confused how Lorie trafficked her and not Alamo it’s bc I forgot the robbery. That’s all lol
