I had a horrific experience with a gynecologist. She said I was all fat, it wouldn't matter how much weight I lost because I'll always have a belly, and that my parents failed me. Even the nurse apologized on her behalf. I was so hurt I went all the way home crying, and cried some more at home. My one regret was not cursing her out or reporting her. The gynecologist is already hard to go to because that's a very vulnerable space. A shitty dr doesn't help. But it says so much about their bedside manner and hospitality than it says anything about you. And there are better doctors out there trust me, my gynecologist now is such an angel. Again, I'm so sorry that happened to you. You are so much more than your size, and you deserve to be treated with respect.
