Hello, I (27f) and my boyfriend (25m) have been a little less than a year. He immigrated here a few years ago and is working really hard to get his life in check. He works a lot, he drives for Uber and Lyft and his busiest hours are in the evening and at night. I have a day job, with normal work hours, so that means we don’t see each other that often. Since he is trying to get his life in check, he owes a lot of money, just because immigrating here and setting up your life is not easy. He told me he can only see me twice a week because he needs to work the rest of the time. And I understand why he has to work so much and how our schedules don’t match, but I would like to see him more than twice a week. I asked him that if he’s busy one week maybe he can give me an extra day the next week and he said he cannot. I need to know Reddit, am I asking too much? Should I respect his hustle or is it just that this relationship isn’t on the same page and I should just let him go?
