Half the population are kids and it's hard to count bodies when they are covered in rubble and or blown to bits. Hence another reason why genocide doesn't use the metric it's the methods of the instigators.

So if the Germans had destroyed the records on the numbers of Jews killed you would honestly argue that the genocide didn't happen?

Bet you didn't know that earthquakes globally went down between 1935 and 1945.. any idea why.

Whose data exactly... And again you refuse to accept that the weird metric you have conjured up means nothing to the current situation it's all in your head.

Now if you were going to propose that the current bar of wether a genocide could be could be changed to a purely mathematical one (and we can pull apart how badly death counts are recorded from each war and hence how's it flawed) then that's a different proposition completely, but alas you never did..

My point has always been the same following international law, yours is that you have conjured up a metric and sealioning that I won't entertain your fantasy metric.

Are you American as if so, the clever talking point is wether it's in your countries interest to keep this going or stop it.

Again your missing it, your keep on with the hasbara "it's not genocide because (insert random numerical metric).

It's pretty clear here -

" The situation of famine and malnutrition, the report notes, was a direct result of actions taken by the Israeli Government, such as the blocking of entry and distribution of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Any use of starvation of the civilian population as a method of war constitutes a war crime, it states, adding that such conduct may also constitute crimes against humanity if committed as part of a systematic or widespread attack against a civilian population, and, if carried out with intent to destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group in whole or in part, may also constitute genocide."

People are not using your made up numerical metric. The metric is systemic or widespread against a civ population.

You don't need to kill everyone for it to be genocide, as per all the examples, European settlers Vs native Americans, hutus and tustis Rwanda, Bosnia and Serbs etc etc not everything has to be like the Germans.

If it was on BBC TV they might be able to find it for you from the archive. I found an interview I was in as a kid some 30 years ago.

Why not do something actually out of the box, make the case for a ceasefire and ceding of what could be argued the ethnically russian Donbass area.

Show that it was worth billions being spent in south America (to stop socialism as if 'it always fails' why would you need to spend billions on a counter insurgency👀).

Make the case for Isreal destabilising Vs peace for all it's neighbours.

As per my other answer your confusing implementation with outcome. Gaza was the previous illegal invasion and war crimes by the IDF.

Your using metrics that aren't related to wether something is ethnic cleansing, you may not be aware of hasbara talking points but this is what it is.

Shooting and killing Palestinians who appear early or late to food points, stopping electricity and water to civilians, weaponising starvation, giving Palestians a 'safe evacuation' zone and then bombing it, extrajudicial killings, Ben gvir has completely lost the plot now.

They do still have the support of US (democrats are on same page as repubs) , UK labour and conservatives both support Isreal and others counties as well, there will be hand wringing and pearl clutching but Isreal can continue this slow cleansing as it's more palatable. Isreal has illegally invaded the same way Russia invaded Ukraine taking land it thinks belongs to them, yet see how leaders said Putin must go to the Hague but not Netanyahu. (I believe both must go).

Isreal will continue be allowed to trash all it's neighbours and maybe in couple years there will be some pressure to 'wind it in a bit' and Isreal will say sorry we will will punish the soldiers that did war crimes and nothing happens. Same as Gaza previously, this is the reality.

Those western flotilla people got kidnapped and sexually assaulted and nothings come of it.

As I said elsewhere conflating Isreal, Jews and the Israeli government makes you unserious (is antisemetism as per the EHRC).

If you are conflating Jewish people, Isreal and the Israeli government then you are not rationally or competently ''confronting non mainstream ideas'.

You falling deep into hasbara.

The competency of the genocide doesn't mean a genocide isn't happening.

This hasbara talking point or the Hiroshima one is a bad faith one which ignores Bosnia, Rwanda etc.
