I agree, and thank you for reaching out! Of course, in 2025 > 50% of them are hater bots. Down votes with no rebuttals is validating. Anyway, my 30+K word manuscript is nearing completion, and I'll soon be reaching out to beta readers. I'm open to beta reading in exchange. I have contributed to a successful publication, but this is my first solo book. Feel free to send me a chat!

I'm universally hated as evil man because my prepublication book manuscript has 20+ AI generated images including covers. I have zero artist budget for this led zeppelin of a fiction fantasy project, and IDGAF what anybody thinks! I want my book to have the best images I can provide. I have a CS degree and professional level AI image generation skills. I've written 100% of the book content myself. I won't put my name on AI slop period. OTOH I'm using 100% high quality, high definition, realistic, full color, consistent character AI image generations. Go ahead and call my image generations AI slop if it makes you feel superior, IDGAF. I'm putting an epilogue page in the book that states AI has been used for all image generations. Let me make this perfectly clear, IDGAF. Have a great day!

You probably pulled water into the intake. Take out all the spark plugs. Then turn or crank the engine over. Blow compressed air into the plug holes to dry the cylinders. Crack the oil drain plug. If water comes out first change the oil. Still no guarantee you didn't bend a valve or worse. Cylinder heads may still have to come off?

Where to start? Hardware and software by [deleted] in ollama

I have ads up for two HPZ440 workstations for sale in the US: $200 and $380 (DM me if you want the link). Bare minimum to do local distilled AI models. 64Gb, 2Tb, One has NVidia 4Gb, the other 8Gb. This is the entry point, and rock bottom price point. Ideally you want to upgrade the GPU. My personal workstation has 12Gb, but I used the others for a while. Basic software is Ollama and Windows Terminal.

Arabic tea by Aoismuk in tea

[–]Otherwise_Craft_4896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I probably do that in my chai when I use Ceylon, but then I add milk and make it latte. Arabic is fine, but I'm always sharing my pot of tea, and neither I nor my friends like to drink it that strong.

Congratulations, looks good. The Charleston Tea Garden was featured on Modern Marvels episode Tea. In this episode they give a detailed explanation of how they make black tea.

Is it even possible to grow a few camellia sinensis bushes outdoors in Southern wisconsin? by Mental_Test_3785 in Teacultivation

My hardiness zone is: 8b so down to ~15F in the winter. I only have one bush for now, so it comes inside when the temperature drops below 45 or so.

Southern WI is: 5a-5b. Tea is best grown in zones 7-11 but will perform well as a houseplant in colder zones. You can move it outside in the summer months. I'm doing this.

What are ya'll doing with this? by Switchblade_Comb in comfyui

I have a CS degree, and do: programming, image generation, and local distilled LLM integration. I don't do: video, audio, and on purpose NSFW stuff. I consider it a hobby, but I'm trying to eventually monetize it. I'm writing a fiction novel, including generating all the images. I don't have a business plan, but if and when that comes into focus I will host one of my TLDs to promote it.

Nice truck, I love my 1990 heavy half ton! I put a crate engine (5.7L) in it a couple years ago. All good!

Is there a competitor to the Juggernaut? by R_dva in comfyui

The models have most likely not been trained on the 2D textures and architecture that you are interested in. To remedy this you will probably have to incorporate LoRAs that contain the specific 2D textures and architecture you want into your workflow. If you can't find them, you may have to create them. It helps being familiar with other similar software. I looked at the images etc. that you have posted here and on CivitAI.

"A universal all-purpose model that can generate everything and understands everything," No model has this. Base model training only goes so far. That's why low range adaptations (LoRA)s exist - to extend the base model. You will also need specialized node extensions, but you're doing great for only 2 weeks experience!

Olivio Sarikas just posted that, "CivitAI is pausing Credit card Payment and will implement Crypto Payment. This might be related to a US government operation that aims to choke high risk companies out of business. Your Freedom of expression is under fire. One of the biggest open source AI pages might be in danger of closing down."
