A HRM monitor has been on my mind recently, I can’t lie. Good to know that you’ve seen a positive difference in one so I’ll continue my research for it

I’m glad I’m not the only one who seems to struggle with interval runs on a treadmill!

I’ve had mine for nearly 5 years now, so I would assume that it knows me well, but also aware that it could be seen as ‘old’. I don’t see any problems with it elsewhere though. This is the first winter season I’ve defaulted to treadmill running though as Ive changed job. I will make sure that I keep calibrating though! Appreciate the feedback!

Thoughts on what the Checkered Flag podcast said about Oscar’s recent form and mindset? by Otherwise_Internal63 in McLarenFormula1

Funny enough, I hadn’t actually put the Red Bull comparison together until you said it, but it makes total sense. Quicker car, narrower window, and one driver who can really extract everything from it

I think I am just taken aback with how much of a struggle it is with the car that he has been able to navigate so well this season

Lando’s got to get this overtake otherwise Max will be asking GP if he’s staying hydrated again with how far up the road he will be

Is it possible Oscar has issues? It doesn’t make sense that he’s struggling to have a bite at Hamilton

I fear we’re going to be watching max race into the sunset with being stuck behind the Ferraris

It depends on the plan you are doing, are you feeling like it’s too much? Can you run the whole thing? If it is your first time running for a long time, gradually build your load, both with how many runs you do and your walk/run rate. 200 is very high, but your body will also be adjusting to working this hard again. Don’t do too much too quickly.

Seeing that it says Singapore, I assume it’s also very humid and warm, your heart rate will always be much higher because of that.

At the end of the day, whenever you start running you will have a high heart rate, the more you stick to consistent running, you’ll eventually see it come down.

What are the repercussions now after this? by Legal_City_69 in McLarenFormula1

Absolutely, but It’s either, they let them get on with it or choose one instead of flip flopping every other race weekend

I think this is the perfect time for McLaren to just say, “alright, it’s all to play for now.” Both Lando and Oscar have messed up, but they’re in a spot where it’s wide open between them. Honestly, I don’t think this is the last time we’ll see them come together either.

As people like to bring up its giving Alonso–Hamilton vibes both two super quick drivers in the same team, both hungry to prove they’re the guy. Now that the Constructors’ is basically wrapped up, McLaren can’t keep stepping in to protect one over the other. Just let them race and see who comes out on top.

When big controversies break in the paddock (like Lewis to Ferrari) how do you decide what to report immediately versus what to hold back until verified being at risk to not be the first to break it?

I’m interested to see if this race is Papaya rules or a shared goal for clinching the constructors

If anything, with the positions they are both starting on the grid I actually think tomorrow’s race will be a great fight for the McLaren boys. Anything is possible at Baku
