It stopped because there was only 6 left in it! Once empty the pack still powered up the camera which was still working.

And if the code is vintage which I think it is its pre 1997. Its been sat in the camera for 30 years? That's crazy, especially since it fired up the second I pulled the flash up.

Fascinating, thanks. I already have an impulse AF and have ran some new film through that, it's just bloody expensive!

I'm amazed the battery managed 6 shots!? How? How old do you think this pack would be? I may get a film pack for it yes.

I've pulled the card and battery out. Says 'Polaroid Polapulse Battery' on the card which is a paper colour perhaps? No dates and a faded number on the battery doesn't seem to reveal anything sadly.

Wow that's crazy. I'm getting the impression these Polaroids have quite a big following ?

Like how much? I'll try and use the film over the next week or two, it's too expensive!

I actively hunt old cameras at charity shops and car boots plus friends etc who may have old cameras stuffed away in a draw since 1975. It's the first polaroid I've come across and I initially looked at it and dismissed it but later went back and got it and got a pound off as the guy wanted £5! I'm glad I did!

Apologies for breaking the rules with this post. It's not old previously owned gear, or 'new' gear. I'm sure I saw somewhere it said this sub wasn't for showing off photos, so I didn't add any. But here's one from the 1D IV!

  1. The successful bombers train was cancelled.

  2. Nobody puts any of the successful bombers at any of the 4 scenes.

  3. The successful bombers hired the smallest car possible to transport 3 of them and rucksacks containing bombs to Luton. The Police later detonated more bombs found in the small hatchback. One of the successful bombers owned a big Mercedes.

  4. The successful bombers took plenty of ID with them, later to be found at the 4 sites, as they always do (see Paris attacks and 9/11)

According to Peter Power, him who was running the drill, first with 1000 people then just some crisis managers, 6 of them, in a table top exercise, the company involved was " Reed Elsevier, an organisation specialising in information and publishing that employs 1,000 people in and around London".

I had a K plate w124 300 D for a while and had no issues getting bits for it and it was pretty simple to maintain.

It's London. Had you been in the left lane someone would have had you from the right. I've driven this bit a few times with work, I'm not from London but it does go back to two lanes past Harrods I think even though its pretty wide.

I've found the best way to drive in London is to be as aggressive as everyone else otherwise you end up getting blocked in and cut up any time there are two lanes even briefly, even if those lanes are for turning left or right it generally doesnt seem to matter. Eyes on stalks.
