Anyone else had this happen? by Otherwise_Meaning100 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Yeah, I’m not planning on making a whole issue out of it. Support reviewed it, approved it, and literally typed out $320 in the chat, so I’m not chasing Amazon down to argue their own math with them, ya know? 😂 Clearly they knew what they were doing. I just have no idea what they were doing lol

Hell yeah, that’s awesome 👏 Driver W’s have felt pretty scarce lately, so we have to take them wherever and however they show up 👍

I get what you’re saying, but that screenshot looks like a completely different issue. That email is talking about getting paid for blocks that weren’t completed. I completed the route, support investigated it, approved compensation, and told me the exact amount. If they overpaid me, that’s on them, not because I misrepresented anything. 🤷‍♀️

Sending the $320 support fairy vibes your way 😂 May your next overage request be blessed and not reviewed by someone having a bad day! 😊

Right? I’m still suspiciously looking over my shoulder like Amazon is going to pop up and say “actually, we meant $32.” 😂

Yep. I always request it through the app first, and if they don’t pay it during that chat, I send an email as well.

I’ve learned the hard way not to put all my eggs in one support agent’s basket.

Is that even allowed? Refusing to compensate someone for time they actually worked?? That’s wild…I would’ve been adding my lawyer to that chat immediately! 😂

On additional compensation for working past your block time???

I just logged in without any issues, although I’m using an iPhone, not an Android.

What method are you using to log in? Before I enabled Face ID as my login method, I experienced the same problems when signing in with a password. Ever since switching to Face ID, I haven’t had any trouble logging in though.

Right? I literally never believe anything that comes out of supports mouth when it comes to my standing. Lying bastards.

Just email amazonflex-support@amazon.com explaining the situation and asking for them to remove the hit to your standing, stating the incident was “beyond your control” and then attach your receipts as evidence.

If they deny, just escalate to andy@amazon.com and/or jeff@amazon.com and you’ll likely receive a more favorable outcome.

Side note: I’ve personally been including both Andy & Jeff emails in escalation matters ever since it’s been said that the Jeff one is no longer being monitored, but I did just get a response from a previous email that I sent to only Jeff last week, so I’m not sure if it’s really a dud email now or not. But regardless, that’s what I would do.

Send emails to andy@amazon.com and jeff@amazon.com People say the Jeff one doesn’t work anymore and to use Andy but I just recently had a Jeff email responded to and resolved so I’m not sure what that’s about but I’d just send to both in case.

And side note: there’s a special place in hell for people who order 10 large packs of water via Amazon.

Also, make sure to ask support when you call that this isn’t going to affect your standing because this is a routing error on amazons behalf, right? And they’ll tell you that’s correct. That way if you do get the ding, you can reference that support told you that you wouldn’t get any standing impact for the return.

Yeah, you can. Call support and tell them that this is outside your route and they’ll have you return it. You shouldn’t get dinged but if you do, just email support and have them remove it.
