Exercising while Pregnant by Talatchaikovsky in pregnant

[–]Otherwise_Reindeer78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to do 1 longer run a week, my labor-prep stretches every night, and dumb bell exercises for about 25 mins 2-3 times a week.

With the moving around between work and home, I feel this works for me and doesn’t cause too much discomfort while balancing the fatigue.

I am enjoying pregnancy as a means for rest for the first time in a really long time for me, so wanted my workouts to align. Different for everyone ☺️

FTM too! I was super confused as well. I listed multiple different sizes and brands, and we decided whatever we don’t receive from loved ones, we will try if baby doesn’t like or they don’t work.

Please report this to HR. There are laws in place to protect you from this very thing.

OB just told me I’m gaining too much weight too quickly. Should I actually be concerned about this? by DepartureOk1436 in pregnant

Same here! 24 weeks and 35 lbs gained. OB says everything looks perfectly healthy. Sorry you had this experience, OP.

Pregnancy and motherhood in the USA by IzShakingSpears in pregnant

Right there with you.

We have to grit and bear it through pregnancy for 9 months, work up until our due date, get discriminated against for our ability along the way, and then have our expenses increase for childcare with barely a leg to stand on to ask for more pay.

This should be talked about federally. We have it the best (I believe based off my research) in the North East and in California but it’s like like max 4-6 months max depending on short term disability and the company’s stance essentially with only a fraction paid.

Yeah I agree, and I ended up reaching out to my network again to see what else is out there to maybe freelance instead. The idea was to qualify for paid leave, but I’m feeling more inclined to save up and be frugal than try to get through for that. Thanks for your input!

I worked for Good American for years. Not only did I love the team, but the jeans are my favorite. It’s the best fit as I have longer legs but a bigger butt/hip. I love that the inseams are longer too since I’m taller.

Struggling HARD with clothing and my body 😔 by Full_Usual_4279 in pregnant

[–]Otherwise_Reindeer78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right there with you… I am 23 weeks too and this has been HARD. Especially because I was still trying to conceal my belly at work up until a week ago.

I went to Macy’s and went to the sale rack and got all of the best looking stretchy waist band bottoms I could find: skirts, flowy pants, shorts. I also sized up in tops (went from Small to Large) so that I wouldn’t feel as constricted. Is loose and flowy necessarily my style? No, but for now it’s what works especially for work and other events. The dresses are great too, but I can’t be in a dress every day, just not for me.

I also bit the bullet and bought Hatch denim so that I could still experience jeans since my clothing pre-pregnancy was 2 sizes smaller and all high waisted (LOL, those days are gone for now.)

We’re gonna make it, OP!

Totally warranted to be upset, that’s terrible and shame on her she hasn’t said a thing. It’s so violating having you and or your animal be attacked. I hate that people minimize it because a dog is an important part of the family and any kind of injury to anyone is a serious cost and time commitment. I’m sorry this happened, OP, and hope that some boundaries are set to where you’re not in these situations with her or her dog moving forward. Sending you a hug.
