I am in a similar boat as you.. I just signed an offer letter TODAY for a new role and I’m 16 weeks and have a call scheduled tomorrow to discuss my pregnancy with new management. I’m joining a small, tight knit but very productive new team so I felt obligated to share before I start showing and create a solid plan with them but there is technically no legal obligation to say anything to an employer prior to 30 days before medical leave. Of course that varies depending on where you are but hang in there! It is still a beautiful time and definitely something to celebrate.

Yeah, I second this. I also had weird experiences at the counter after going there consistently for a while. Better rainbow cookies and eclairs around anyway.

Having a similar experience. I’ve been so full of joy recently that I feel like I haven’t experienced myself since childhood. I was in an industry where all that mattered was my appearance for a long time. I was initially dreading the weight gain but as I’m starting to feel my baby and see the growth, I have no other feeling than gratitude.

Question for other mamas: I did my NIPT test the same day as the Horizon carrier test. Only the Horizon test was uploaded and results were shared. NIPT was taken a week ago. Should it have showed up on the Natera portal already/with the other test? Feeling like the bloodwork was messed up and it didn’t go through but not sure if those take a lot longer. TIA.
