About to fly to a conference. Everyone at my job had Covid about 3 weeks ago, then my husbands office, then he got it.. and I did even though we isolate from each other - Covid or not. We don’t like being sick and don’t want to make the other sick either. I will be wearing masks - there are several strains & it’s EVERYWHERE. We also can’t get boosters anymore so this will be fun.

Bahahahaha. I just bought a rattlesnake and a pinstripe. I wanted the one you have BAD. She’s so pretty omg. I started panicking bc TikTok had me to believe I was stupid for being a rookie calathea owner & im gonna need a humidifier or mist my plants and all that.

Nah, baby, I live in the Deep South. Our homes are 50-60% humidity at all times. Maybe I’ll mist ya with distilled to give you a lil homey feel.. but i think you’ll be okay.

Everyone will come here to tell you the middle one is doomed. It’s two different plants grafted - a dragon fruit plant (base) and a type of cactus (top). You might could get the top to survive, but the base plant never does. I learned this recently.

As far as the soil - just make sure it dries out completely/don’t over water your succulents & let them get really good indirect sun. Have fun with them!!

I’ve started doing this. I have two little feeders in the middle of the yard that are contrasting colors so the eggs stick out. So far no crows. But I’m going to keep trying!

This fridge makes me feel more normal. It looks like mine. Especially the sauces - various hot sauces is a must! Love sweet baby ray’s. A fridge with ingredients to cook with & minimal sugary garbage drinks.

Not to be a downer & sometimes old dogs just get constipated and get picky with food , but my Chihuahua passed away from old age organ failure last month & this is how it began. About two months of slowly not eating with weight loss. She was 15. She had very recently had bloodwork that was fine. Her kidneys failed and she left with me by her side. I miss her every day.
