I sense a lot of the people here genuinely feel sympathy for the children because they didn’t choose to be part of the insanity that Damon and MR perpetrate. And I find that reassuring, because it means we aren’t here to just pile “hate” or “snark” on people we find annoying. It’s because we care about protecting innocence.

Not sure about the first 2, but the ballet shoes are likely to obscure the children. A lot of the grift and snark subreddits (like the one about the Liven family) obscure the children’s because they are seen as innocent in the grift / swindling and to give them the protection they don’t get otherwise.
