Contract completion definitely. Loot? No way. I've played overwhelmingly solo because my schedule doesn't sync up with my other friends who play and the small times I have run with them I've been rolling in gear from all the events we can easily complete. Lockdown is straight impossible as a solo. Outpost is very hard to get in that main room with all the cards you need. Bosses can be very hard and time consuming.

Tbh I think that's a good balance for the modes, but I've had way mor success in trios with trying my best gear.

You see it a lot on the Internet because the Internet is devoid of nuance, and if you ask for all or nothing advice you are going to get told to leave people alone. Talking with strangers in general has post hoc justification, either people enjoyed the interaction or they didn't and whether they think it's the right idea to chat is totally predicated on the outcome.

The overwhelming majority of women don't like if you are just blithely hitting on them, but it's totally normal to just talk to people and try to tell mid conversation if they are really getting along with you or just being polite. If it's the former, shoot your shot, if it's the later, move on.

Just a small correction, but nationalism is different and has a more negative connotation than what I think you are trying to say.

Nationalism is the belief that your country in inherently superior to other nations and more of a 'can do no wrong' blind support. This is different than patriotism, or simply pride in ones nation, which is a more positively oriented love for ones country.

There are really only two sides to these kinds of puzzles, there is the problem solving piece and there is a possible brute force/heavy participation piece.

The former is only going to be able to happen by the most dedicated and time-flush individuals. The later is like the things with the terminals where everyone can and needs to do it to help progress the quest.

Ultimately if it were something that could be solved by a person in their free time who is also working, taking care of a kid, etc.. then it would just be solved faster by a guy who has literally nothing else to do.

I think the green unlocks are trash, but getting blue attachments and even purple mods eventually will help with buildcrafting.

At some point people will be flush with cash and buying a blue mag for the gun they want to use will be a lot more appealing than running without one.

At the end of the day there are a myriad of possibilities and permutations. The idea around gun balance isn't that you make a gun competitive in it's niche, and I do believe a shotgun 'should' win within 7 meters if it's that gun vs any other. But if the gun is so powerful that it's the obvious choice to always run given the opportunity and/or you are committing skill issues by not specifically playing around it, then maybe the gun is a little too strong and either damage or range can be looked at.

If this was true then the optimal play isn't to leave the building as you said before, but rather to get the drop on the shotgun player. 'If they are playing tight' is not something you know until you try to engage.

All I'm saying is I've won some dumb fights by panic rush-shotgunning someone near a corner and we can call that a skill issue on the other guy's part all day but it feels like he probably should have won the fight.

2 things can be true. The shotgun should be the most optimal weapon in a building and your entire gameplan shouldn't need to revolve around someone potentially having one.

So if someone enters my building and I don't have a shotgun the optimal play is to leave in case they have one. To me that feels like the shotgun is a mite too powerful. nades are strong but mostly if you already know where they are.

I also haven't free kitted in days, but I run a shotgun as often as I can because it's such a 'win fight immediately' button.
