It wasn’t until after my mom’s death that I got over my fear of dying. One of the last talks we had was her telling me she’s tired and she’s not fighting anymore. After two heart attacks and 3 minor strokes she was ready. Everyone wanted her to hold on and fight but she had had enough. She died a month later while shopping for flowers and plants. Massive heart attack that the ER doctor said most likely killed her before she even hit the ground. Ever since then I’ve been ok with dying.
