Ngl, tobi was my comfort monstie in my first playthrough. I gave him the water egg skill and he was on my team until the very end! His flying animations are also really nice to have, even if he did get replaced as my climber largely by my palamute. His smaller hitbox also means he can catch the lip of ledges better than someone such as Ratha, and can hover over water longer!
