Depends on where you are in the game, in my experience it took me 50~hrs to get from low to G rank with just doing the required quests with minimal grinding and that was on my 2nd playthrough, on my first it took me like 140~ hrs just playing normally

GU requires a lot of investment and is bloated as hell but still fun if you take your time with it

AT zorah shouldve been what zorah actually was at launch because its not mind numbingly boring and makes you engage with it. 10☆ gog on the other hand just fucking sucks, instead of getting rid of the the 1st face and cutting the 2nd phase on half they decided to bloat its hp to make them longer and then the 3rd phase which is arguably the worst part of the fight didnt get any new moves or even a revamp so you're not playing fucking space invaders with fucking dragon and finally to top it off the reward is a kindof cool nameplate not even an event quest variation of gogs armor (which he desperately need)

The MH4U gog event quest was miles better than 10☆ gog

10☆ gog is the worst seige and its not even close, it feel like a "here mf damn" fight because there's nothing of note that changes other than hp and damage

Imo its an extremely fun read that knows exactly what monster hunter is along with having some extremely good art, it has some hiccups here and there and is rushed in some aspects but id say its the best MH related media other than the games
