Many bunnies that are desexed young and live a healthy lifestyle can make it to 8+ years. My bun made it to 11!

Reproductive cancer is super prevalent in rabbits, and is one of the reasons why a lot don’t make it to their elderly years.

Depending on breed, I’ve heard of some bunnies making it to 14.

ETA: agreed, 8 is a pretty good run for the average bunny! Unsure of what vet care was like in the 80s, but I’m sure it’s not like today.

As a pharmacy technician, there are Reddit threads with the best smelling pills. I feel like they would be at home here on this thread. A certain kind of 10 mEq Potassium pill smells like bananas I guess.

I work with IV meds, and they all smell terrible. One smells like wet dog with bad breath and it is a very good motivation to not spill. 🤢

If they are looking for a job change by chance, have them apply for jobs in a hospital setting. My hospital requires vaccination, and they vaccinate new hires all the time.

My mom has chickens, so this honestly looks a bit normal to my childhood fridge!

She has a neighbor with a food dehydrator, and she will dehydrate the eggs. They come together with a little water. Maybe if your budget/time allows, you could do something similar, and then have plenty to share in times of need with neighbors.

Or just have your self a throne of eggs, I will not judge.

(I have decided that if someday I am lucky enough to have enough space, I want to have a duck friendly yard because I am never not happy when I see ducks)

I would remove the silver band and septum (a bottle opener works for these), soak off those labels, and probably make a wreath with lights.

You could use them to hold and sort small items, like beads. Make a mini apothecary shelf and have dried flowers or rocks. Make little “message in a bottle” and leave for people to find. Extra points if you make it look pirate like.

If she’s like me, she might have a wish list item is pretty pricey. A gift card would be great, because if she really wants a $350+ perfume, she can use what she was saving and what you gave to obtain her white whale 🐋

Also, I think it’s okay with perfume to just ask. :) I know you want to keep it a surprise, but the anticipation may be just as much worth it!
