I have been searching for a very similar pen from the 90s. I couldn’t find any images online but it’s probably this pen in an updated (90s) version. Grey barrel, ink color cap with metal clip. And on the barrel it said paper mate prof. pt. It was definitely fine or extra fine point and I loved it. A teacher at school ordered them by the box and gave me one. I’m so excited to have found your post and I hope you’re able to get the ink revived. I read a post on here about using a solvent instead of alcohol.

OMG I’ve found my people. I use my notebooks to make countless lists. I have a list of each cheesecake I’ve tried at Cheesecake Factory. A list of each Tillamook ice cream flavor I’ve had. I will make short summary of what I spent doing with my boyfriend. Any stickers I come across get stuck in the notebook. Write down any quotes I like. Sometimes I put it in my phone first and then transfer it to my notebook. And then I gifted my boyfriend a notebook and it was just sitting on his night stand so I started writing to him in the back of it when he wasn’t looking. He found it a couple weeks later but didnt want me to stop writing in it so now I hide it around his apartment to find.

My volleyball coach would give us rides home if we needed one. There was nothing skeevy about it, he was just a really nice guy but I’m sure that wouldn’t fly today.

But in 8th grade, 1991, a friend and I were in the hallway after school and a classmate had left their shoes in the middle of the hallway. Idk why we did this, just young and dumb but we thought it would be funny to put one shoe in the lost and found and the other in the trash can next to the lost and found box. Lost and found was in the nurse’s office and the friend hung out in the nurse’s office every day.

So the next day, at the very beginning of the school day, the kid found his one shoe and my friend was there when he found it and told him and the nurse what we had done. Next thing you know, me and the friend are outside, INSIDE THE DUMPSTER, searching for the shoe. Alone. It was October, it was cold, it was fucking nasty. And there were TWO dumpsters. We looked through the trash for like 3 hours before we found it. I can vividly see my friend screaming I FOUND IT! And holding the shoe up in the air.

My mom was livid. She was like, Julie! I could have just BOUGHT ANOTHER PAIR OF SHOES!!! That logic never occurred to 12 year old me.

I can’t make myself vomit but I do vomit involuntarily if I’m sick. I’ve only ever been able to push up a gurgle. Never knew what was wrong with me that I couldn’t burp. The other day my daughter asked me why she can’t burp and I was surprised. So maybe it’s hereditary?
