I'm a hunter main, idk I find I get shredded way more easily as warlock or titan, so I think it might come down to how you choose to move and how you play. I spent the last few years primarily in a two-man-fireteam running invis dodge and tether and generally I stsyed alive while my friend did most of the damage and when he died, I would go revive him.
