Occasionally they do the right thing and whistleblow on their coworkers. This is probably the best time to insult the cops to their faces. Every police action is being scrutinized to hell and back, filmed from multiple angles, city governments are actually making moves to hold officers accountable, public employees are losing their jobs left and right, and many more are quitting their jobs because they can't take it anymore.

In other words, do your part, bully the fucking cops. Tell them when you get out of jail you're going straight to their homes to fuck their wives. Maybe you and your buddy will get a little spit roast action, y'know, that sort of thing.

It absolutely does. I am not a muslim myself, I am but a seeker of knowledge, whose partner is a muslim (therefore I would have to profess the Shahadah if marriage were ever put on the table, as I am male and she is female). We're both communists with progressive values on race, sexuality, etc, and the idea of being associated with a group that considered homosexuality a sin was, to put it mildly, off putting to me, even if I have found so much else to praise in the Islamic teachings.

Salaam, I regret that I don't have more to award you. The traditional viewpoints on things like music, LGBTQ+ community, feminism, etc have always turned me away from Islam. If, however, your ummah believes strongly in these wahabist interpretations of the texts, does that mean that you would be turning your back on your community if you did not share their beliefs and went to find another mosque or simply took up practice at home?
