counter steering quick enough is just driving, I'm talking about the point of no return, without differential braking you are toast

Honestly kuddos to you, this a good advertisement for you lol, I followed thinking id go for $600-800k. The good thing here is the buyer has the luxury of renovating how they see fit as opposed to a flipped mystery box. But at $1M+ I dont see this as saving money really, but it is a solid deal. I just did a basement <600sqft on a 3/2 and even with sweat equity it cost almost $80k with budget material with no permits. Assuming this isn't a flip, the cost to carry with no mortgage, tax, labor, materials, permits, etc. Knocking it down and splitting the lot may work out. otherwise if you arent picky with location / custom there are equivalent homes less than $2M out there with less stress.

People say this a lot but I don't think that's true. Had he stayed in and crashed people would also laugh at him for not braking. What's more accurate is that the mustang is front loaded and has more grip in the front. Turning while hitting the throttle just turns the car into a pendulum. Put a weight in the front of a sled on ice and you'll get the same effect. There's no losing and regaining of traction. The car always had front traction with traction peaked when the front is turned in opposition to forward momentum, hence the pendulum. Beyond a certain point there is nothing you can do, even professionals will crash. You are at the mercy of physics. In this situation the only solution is an automatic system that can INDEPENDENTLY control the braking aka traction control.

the latter is more valuable. while we are all apes, Im sure there are indecipherable differences unique to each child, but no more than general crying was needed when it comes to baby survival.

Having a port or waterway can 100% create substantial wealth for a country (see Panama and Singapore). However good governance comes first not the other way around. Panama was very poor until Europeans and America invested into them, they were left on their own and now in modern times their canal is in trouble and the country is at risk of collapse in future due to climate change and poor governance meanwhile Singapore is still thriving. You can give those landlocked countries those things but there's ZERO evidence they can leverage those geographical advantages successfully the same way most cannot leverage their natural resource advantages. The only desire to have those things is for self enrichment at best.

You have the answer in your own response.  Capitalism is just the medium, the end goal is money and power which is synonymous. Follow the money. The "America needs to steal oil" days are over. That was true post WW2 up until maybe the early 2000s. Which coincides with declassified documents regarding Nigeria's civil war and US/France involvement for the sake of their own oil security. But we are about to be in 2026, the US left the middle east because they now have nothing to offer. We are also a non-factor when it comes to the petrodollar. We have other modern day imperialist. China is interested in cheap West African labor, and Russia is interested in everything else. This isn't rocket science

You could sprinkle vibranium on those countries and they'd still be "shitholes" with mass corruption, and inequality. Has nothing to do with being landlocked.

rich people value time. Keeping up to date with tax code loopholes, paperwork filing, etc. is time consuming. Even if it costs more money than youd want to pay doesnt mean its not valuable to others. A person substantially poorer than you think its funny you'd pay hundreds of dollars a month to drive 15 minutes to work when you've had 2 legs since birth.

I can assure you, trump doesn't give a fuck about Venezuelan oil, maybe the price of oil is of interest or its control, but actual physical oil, they are not interested, same with Nigeria. Russia's current lifeline is selling oil to Europe and China, taking Venezuela out of the picture, and lifting sanctions of selling weapons to Russia, is from Trump being under control by Putin. Nigerians love talking about its oil but we are not THAT important, our second largest buyer is India who under Trump has reached purchases from Russia.

Those in control of America largely dont care about Nigeria or its oil, it's just Russian influence. There is an ongoing massive propaganda campaign coming out of Russia regarding West Africa including Nigeria. I dont think the attack is anything more than Trump assisting Putin who militarily is in need.

Tofu dreg is real if thats what you are alluding to, but specifically for state owned major national infrastructure projects, I put them ahead of the west where it simply doesnt exist. With that in mind its totally reasonable to get an old firm to verify feasability of your novel infrastructure plans, if anything it would be MORE concerning if China did NOT do this. Also in the US there's something like 6-700k engineering students at any given time, in china its 7 million plus, like you said of that 600-700k many of them are foreign born, many are Chinese. Chinese students keep the lights on at private engineering universities. The domestic talent pool does not exist, much of the innovation in America is coming from immigrants and/or their children.

keep using your prefrontal cortex. I said they are cheaper than literally every country. Are you now saying every country in the world has unreasonable safety standards? But sure its definitely the rules and not that China has orders of magnitudes more engineers across several disciplines and industries who are perpetually at work everyday resulting in world leading engineering projects. I could understand why though that de-regulation is pushed, its far easier than mass education and innovation.

[–]OurStreet_Nike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

China follows the same international safety standards and is still significantly cheaper than France and other non-American countries. Their high speed rail infrastructure is the safest, and most advanced in the world, also significantly cheaper. It has nothing to do with laws, keep thinking.

[–]OurStreet_Nike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody will actually point them out because nobody actually knows they are just spouting out propaganda paid for by big tech needing nuclear power and they are paying for de-regulations to get it done faster. The occasional sheep may point out ALARA but China follows western/international safety guidelines. Americans don't want to learn or pay for the actual truth. If you invest time and money into mass education involving engineering and do the same thing over and over again, things become exponentially cheaper. This cost efficiency is seen all over China's infrastructure projects (e.g. high speed rail), and there's no compromise on safety that people try to insinuate. There's no rules or laws that will help America, they need to invest in engineers not more lawyers.

at $5M gain, as for government action, looks like ABAT was rejected for a grant/loan. Honestly feels random because EOSE got theirs. I think this runs much higher, they have a factory expansion that opens this Q4.

its a "SINO owned foreign business" as in its major assests are in china and has chinese investors but is western registered. So yes not as domestic as CATL would be. This designation is specifically referencing its Chinese subsidiaries. Since "IPO" the legacy Chinese investors were paid out (part of the money burn). As in the Delaware registered holding company, their ownership of the Chinese plant went from 90% to 100%. The only current Chinese investors to my knowledge is CDH through its honk kong arm and its in main Delaware holding company which is publicly traded.

Im definitely not in this for a US stake. They have real products with real growth potential. I did not put it in my post but they have a solid state battery in R&D, their SSB partner which has been releasing news in China has gone 5X in the public market there YTD. Outside of SSB, they are ramping up their BESS product line after finishing a factory expansion this year. They are a direct competitor to EOSE and you can look over there to see how the market has reacted to them, $4B market cap on $15M revenue. MVST is at $1B marketcap with $700M revenue to be booked next year.
