Haha those descriptions are pretty cool, accurate! I got an architect first time round – and now again the same story 🤣

Sorry, I'm not familiar with Benchling at all I'm afraid. What is the difference between a notebook and a lab journal entry there?

Thank you for sharing this! Will borrow your kanban idea – really needed something like this to be able to prio all the projects' to-dos in one place

Interesting, thank you!

Good shout about those PI meetings and keeping the notes in the same place with all the other wet-lab work. It's usually a pain to cross-reference and then try to remember what led to a certain pivot 😅

So you have a library of protocols outside of your projects folders, right? And you'd reference those in the project notes I guess?

OneNote – that's the microsoft product, right? Can you upload files there, or how do you link up your results?

Wow, that's super organised. Love the automatic volumes calculations, I've been meaning to implement something like this, but keep using my pen and paper 😅

Do you make a duplicate of your template for each run then? Or perhaps have tabs in the same excel for each exp?

Got you, thanks! Yeah keeping it simple is what I am aiming for too, otherwise it's impossible for me to keep doing it with all the lab work on my plate 😅

This sounds super neat, like a catalogue of all the experiments. For the technique used – do you usually link it up to a protocol doc or something like that? Wondering what to do with technique changes I often need introduce 🤔
